  1. it would be ideal if you could have the ability to remove / delete costs in the main information tab in a quote. Ie: If you apply a template with a bunch of costs but realise you need to change it - it would be idea to be able to select multiple costs and just remove them from the quote rather than having to go into each individual cost and deletling.

  2. Many super fund member numbers have special characters, eg, dash '-' or underscore '_'.
    At the moment, only numbers can be entered as the Member Number, which means any member numbers with special characters are deemed 'invalid' by Xero. This means we are unable to process super payments for the staff member.

On the reconcile it would be really useful to add a note to transactions on the left hand side of the screen so it's easy to reference the correct invoice/account later on - we take deposits long before the invoice is finalised and this is hard to track back sometimes, particularly when making a cash deposit to the bank or the money has come in on the card machine and could be much faster if a note could be left with the account it relates to until it can be reconciled.

The need to have an occassional tax point date that is different from that of the invoice date has arisen, usually found in the retail sector, and there is not currently an ability to add the field to the sales invoice form. Can there be the ability to have this feature added, albeit a hidden one? Currently the work around is to create an invoice outside of Xero and send that version to the client, causing additional workload. We have been seeing this from vendors for years but the workaround there is entering in the tax point as the invoice…

  5. In the old version of Bank Reconciliation Summary report, the headers "Balance in Xero" and "Statement Balance" sitting with its balance amount in the same row.

    After updated to the new version, the report, https://reporting.xero.com/!bX2sj/v1/Run/1066 for example, the balance falls different row of its title. It doesn't make sense and this would make it complex because you are not able to use scripts or Vlookup to manage those report (if they are not align in the same row).

    Could you please consider
    1. moving the balance amount to the same row of its header, or
    2. Adding a description for…

  9. Currently, one can show the field "InvoiceFeeReimbursed" for a Stripe surcharge on an invoice. However, this is just the gross amount (net + VAT), while one needs to split it and show it properly on a VAT invoice?

    It would be best if the surcharge would be a conditional line itewm on an invoice, with all the settings available just like for any other line.

    For example, let's say an invoice is for a domestic UK customer, the total amount (before a surcharge) being £100 + £20 VAT 20%. Let's say the surcharge is 3%, so £3.60. As I'm not…

  10. Would like to request to add "does not contains" in the filter of account transaction.

    Sample Gross amount does not contain "-" so only with balance of negative or positive will show.

    This is almost same in the Find and recode feature (Contain, is not)

    Within the Account Transactions report you'll have an option in the 'Accounts to include' field. 

    Setting this to 'Only with transactions' means your report will only show accounts that have actually had transactions posted to it in the period - Does this help achieve what you're after here?

  12. what about the possibility of practices creating their own report code structure? with infinite report codes capable of being added? to accommodate flexible reporting structures?

    It is truly difficult to automate reporting where a practice does not control the chart structure. this is because clients often create new chart codes because their particular expense doesnt neatly fit the chart options available...so a new expense/revenue/etc account is added and then the report pack grows in size (with similar account types that really should be grouped for reporting) to the point where it is unusable...unless the practice manually maps into a "group"…

  14. Ability to add "description" column on the individual contacts page. We often need to look through a supplier/customer to quickly see what types of purchases/sales we make, so having descriptions on this page is needed. Currently we have to run a report which is an unnecessary long way around.

  15. Be able to have on inventory items the ability to not have a cost against them. The old system allowed that but the new system does not. EG we want to have the line on every invoice 'To re-fit all parts removed and new parts where needed' On the old system we could have it without any units or quantity. It is just a general line. It is counted as a task rather than a specific quantity.

  16. It would be great to have a status on quotes for when you have chased a quote. We can add a date of this and details of what has happened in notes, however if it could show as chased on the first screen under status, this would make more user friendly.

  17. Stripe Bank accounts should have option to include Currency while importing statement manually. Also Currency conversion tool is needed to convert Multi currencies to Base currency.

  18. The Quote information should come forward on the invoice whether you are invoicing from the Quote or invoicing from the Project Amount OR the deposit amount needs to show when invoicing from the Quote.

    It doesn't make sense that if someone pays a deposit, I have to use the project amount to invoice but have to re-enter all the quote information (our quotes are broke out in areas with a dollar amount for that area to be invoiced).

    If I use the Invoice from Quote, then the deposit amount doesn't show. I then have to work around the deposit that…

  19. UK. We employ temporary staff who do not accrue leave while taking paid leave they have previously accrued. The only way to reflect this in Xero is to manually adjust the leave balance. I would like to be able to add a pay item of paid leave that does not accrue further leave.

  20. The existing 'Statement of Cash Flows' could be enhanced to be the bridge between the P&L and the balance sheet.
    1. Term debt and cash are netted to give the movement in cash equivalents. If the statement differentiated between 'term' funding (in our case, reduction of term debt) and the 'cash at bank' balance it would better describe cash flows.

    1. Make repayment of loans a 'financing' activity. Currently it is wrapped in 'cash equivalent'.

    2. The flows in Operating Activities would be more meaningful if it highlighted where to see changes. For example, working capital changes in the period under review…
