  1. A year-end payroll report which lists the employees, and provides total amounts for Gross earnings, PAYE, and all other deductions for the financial year, with company totals at the bottom. Basically it could just be a one-page summary for the year, depending how many employees there are. Most other payroll systems have the report option, and it's very important for end of year wages reconciliations.

  2. I would like to be able to run a report that simply has overdue invoices, name, phone number, email. Ideally sorted by sales. Similar to the list I get when I am doing Statements but with a phone number in it.

  6. For the bill want 2 dates: one is the bill date, and one is the transaction date. we normally received the bills in the next month...if one date will affect the cost (as construction, use WIP), will be confused....

  7. It would be really helpful if there was a way of adding a description/note to conversion balances. For example, if a creditor balance relates to a specific loan, it would be useful to be able to note this somewhere. Currently, reports only show 'conversion balance' as the description for the transaction and it isn't possible to add a description to the conversion journal. It makes it difficult to keep track of historic debtors and creditors and this information needs to be kept elsewhere, duplicating work.

    Hi team, appreciate the feedback here and it appears there are 2 differing ideas being bought up here. This idea was originally started relating to the invoice branding theme. Being open, while we will look at improvements to invoice templates down the line this isn't planned just yet.

    More recent conversation appears to be related to the new invoicing send modal and formatting of emails sent from Xero. We have a slightly different idea those who are interested in this can join and you'll see I recently updated - While the tool bar has been removed from the send window, you can still use html tags to format and preview how these look in your email.

  9. Add the ability to open an account transaction report by clicking on the number in a total line of the balance sheet or P&L. The linked account transaction report would contain the account transactions for all accounts that were being totaled.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your ongoing interest and support for this idea.

    We understand the complexities surrounding calculating holiday pay for employees in the UK, and acknowledge the need to provide a helpful way to calculate an accurate rate in which to pay out their holiday.

    Our product team are excited to share that this is an area we are currently looking into developing.

    Your feedback and ideas are extremely important to us. As such, we’d like to reach out to our valued community members to get involved in prototype testing, commencing later this month.

    The testing will involve using a prototype tool to assess the usability of a proposed way of calculating Holiday Pay in Xero. We'd encourage users that feel strongly about this area of payroll to sign up and welcome users of all experience levels.

    Given the popularity of this idea we expect spaces to fill up…

  11. In the Xero App, you have to select a tax rate. It doesn't auto fill like it does on the desktop version

  12. I need to be able to set a number of pays for recurring payroll deductions.
    For example; my employee buys a laptop under salary sacrifice and wants to pay it back over a specified number of pay cycles.
    At the moment I need to track this manually to ensure that the deduction is removed at the right time. It would be great if the software could do this for me.

  13. Xero can you please add a Remaining To Allocate line on the bills screen. Most of my bills are split between jobs so a remaining balance to allocate would save so much time having to manually calculate entries. See example attached. Especially when working on the go so a calculator is not required.

  15. Our bank has changed from export of bank statements from OFX to CFONB (see below the new French standard) which is not yet supported by Xero! This has a huge impact on our workflow and time spent on getting our many bank transactions in the system. Can anyone help and vote for this to be upgraded as a format for bank transaction import..
