Purchase Orders - Import associated files from Unleashed
We use Unleashed (UL) for all of our purchases and sales. The team uploads associated files, proformas, invoices, and receipts directly to the UL PO.
When the PO is completed and 'pushed' to Xero, the associated documents are lost. I then have to login, find them, download from UL, and then upload them into Xero.
Is there anyway that these files can be pulled with the rest of the information?

AU Payroll - Reports for Timesheet Approver
As an approver of timesheets i see there are couple of issues which can make the process water tight.
1.Ability to see approved time sheets (siimilar to leaves). Currently once the timesheet is approved for an individual there is no way to check what has been approved
2.Ability to run a report for all employees that have been approved or alternatively ability to allow access to certain reports to the approver.

History and Notes - Filter by action
Filter history and notes by Action and display sales invoice number. Enable the report to export the to Google Sheets/Excel.

Reports - Journal Entry on the Accounting menu
Please put a menu item under the Accounting Menu for Journal Entry. I don't like having to run a report just to go to manual journals or to add a new journal. Just put "New Journal" under the advanced sub menu under accounting. If you are concerned about the average bookkeeper making journal entries, allow the ability for the admin to dictate which menu items are shown for different users.

Contacts - Allow Negative Discounts
Allow Negative Discounts to provide a basic Tiered Pricing Solution
There has been a huge amount of noise over the last 5+ years about Xero not supporting Tiered pricing. This can mean many things, but the most basic requirement is Customer Price Lists.
It can be as simple as allowing negative discounts in the Contact Record...a negative discount would increase the price instead of discounting it.
Every Item Currently has a default 'Sale Price'.
Allowing both a +ve or -ve 'Discount' in the contact record solves the basic tiered pricing issue. This is a very simple solution to creating a 'Price List' for each customer.
Even better, allow the user to create a 'Customer Group', and assign a Customer to 'a group'.
That way in Excel you can very quickly assign +ve or -ve discounts to each customer record. (Filter by Group/Assign the Discount +/- and re-import)
For example -
Customer Group A might get a 5% increase to the Default Sale price

Projects - Notification or reminder of invoices and projects due
Ability to set reminders/notifications to raise next invoice in Xero Projects
When raising the quote, which details the scheduled dates that the customer will be invoiced, it would be useful if you could set a reminder/notification on the project to tell you when to prepare and send the next invoice out.

Account Transactions Report - Running Balance calculation
Currently the Account Transactions Report calculates Debits minus Credits which means a positive Running Balance shows in brackets and a negative Running Balance shows without brackets. This is totally contradictory to the usual accepted Accounting Rules. Can this be changed so that the Running Balance is calculated as CREDITS MINUS DEBITS please ?

UK Payroll - Breakdown of SMP calculation on payslip
The ability to be able to print out a breakdown for the employee of their payments for SMP and how Xero calculates them. This is available in other payroll software

Invoices - Increase attachment size
Current size limit of attachments able to be sent with invoices is 7MB.
Businesses that are required to send PODs with their invoices and that are photographs of the POD's reach the limit of the attachment size after 2 or 3 photographs.Email limits at the moment through gmail, outlook etc are around 20MB+ so there is a work around, however makes it much easier and more streamlined to send via Xero.

Sales Overview - Bulk "Void" button for invoices
Can you introduce a "void " button please on the invoice listing page. We have dozens of invoices that have not been paid as customer cancelled order but we cannot void them in bulk. We would like to use the checkbox next to the listing of invoices and select "void" to do them all at the same time rather than one by one which we do not have time to do.

Invoicing - Send customer receipts to a mobile phone
Would it be possible to send a customer receipt to a mobile phone/cell phone?

While we don't have immediate plans for sending invoice receipts to customers via SMS, as you may have heard we've made steps in this space with sending of invoices via SMS now available to AU customers, and in the works for the US - See my update on this idea.
We're continuing to expand on this feature for the time being but we'll continue to track interest in your idea here and share if there's any plans made. 🙂

One Click Delivery Notes
We need to include delivery notes with orders. The current packing slip does not cover this requirement. I'd like to be able to select multiple invoices, and bulk print delivery notes for them all. The delivery note needs to be somewhat customisable.
The notion of having to edit an invoice and change the theme in order to generate a delivery note is completely impractical!
75 votesWhile only on an invoice by invoice basis atm there is a slightly simpler option that the team released that will help create a packing slip for invoices.
Would be good to get a sense of the interest for a bulk option and creating for multiple invoices at once.

Expenses - View draft expense claims before submission
ability to view and edit the whole teams draft expenses where all members can upload there expenses from devises and the one admin member can edit and submit for approval by the approver.

Inventory - Automatically copy updated purchase prices to Draft purchase orders
When inventory prices are updated, enable draft purchase orders to also update with these current prices, or am I missing something?

Invoices - Option to set direct bank transfer payment option on Invoices
Could we implement an option to pay an invoice via bank transfer when a customer clicks on the 'pay now' link on an invoice?
At the moment, most of the connected services are done via card and may have fees included on top of what the customer already has to pay.

Dashboard - Business Overview Graphs
It would be nice to have a business overview dashboard similar to QuickBooks. The existing Xero dashboard is designed for bookkeepers and doesn’t have any valuable insights for business owners. Perhaps it would be better to have two different tabs on the dashboard, one for bookkeepers, and another one for business owners.

Invoices - Payment Terms to include a "day(s) after the end of the bill week" option
It is far more common place and practical to set a give day of the week to send payment batches. I would assume that most businesses are not firing off payments every day of the week for every individual invoice (ie based on x number of days after invoice/bill date).
That being said, I also believe it is far less common to be offering or to be offered payment terms of old (ie x days after EOM).
It is and has been common place in our industry for more than 20 years, that suppliers provide payments terms of x days after End of Week (EOW).
The payment terms options provided in Xero do not facilitate this specific payment term type and therefore requires hacking an x number of days after bill date to get the calculated date close and then for every invoice, manually applying the correct due date.
It would be incredibly helpful to include an EOW payment option for payment terms for both Bills & Invoices.
