Bills - Add 'Make Payment' option available in Canada for 'Bills'.
In Canada, 'Make Payment' button is not available in 'Bills'. It would be nice to make payment directly from the Bills instead making payment from the bank.

Bills - Filter bills list by account code
On Xero bills, as well as being able to filter and search for purchase invoices by contact or invoice reference, being able to search by a nominal code would be helpful. For example, making a payment run for all of one type of cost; finding any invoices that have not been allocated properly or for finding amounts that need to be included in management accounts.

CSV Receipt Import for improved Expenses workflow
Problem: Organizations processing bulk expenses are forced to manually enter each receipt into Xero Expenses one-by-one, creating significant administrative burden and delaying reimbursements. With the introduction of the new Expenses module, the public API is not deprecated and imported receipts are not shown anywhere within the current UI.
Solution: Add CSV import capability to Xero Expenses, allowing batch upload of receipts with automatic data extraction and validation.
Impact:
Reduce expense processing time by 85%
Decrease data entry errors by 70%
Improve employee satisfaction through faster reimbursements
Strengthen Xero's competitive position against emerging expense management platformsI can send you the complete pitch on request - thank you.

Ability to link bills to customers
Ability to link a bill/expense to a customers invoice but not have it itemise. So you can track cost of goods per job especially for small businesses only utilizing invoicing and not having to do projects

AU Payroll - Timesheet quantities
Timesheets - aside from just having an employee enter hours worked against each, it would be good to have a customizable timesheet that other fields could be recorded against the day that are not hours driven. For example - for one day have the employee enter 5hrs of time worked but also another field for a quantity driver - eg; enter quantity of 3. We have one client with a large number of employees that are remunerated via an hourly rate plus a quantity driver. The current workaround is the employee to submit the timesheet but also send a separate email to the general manager with a quantity number which then has to be entered manually into each payrun. Not very efficient. Ta.

Organisation Settings - Show Xero subscription plan in Settings
At the moment when you go to Organisation Settings > Subscription and billing (e.g. https://go.xero.com/Settings/ManageSubscription), it says "Change plan and update credit card details Managed by XXXX"
If we are XXXX - we don't see either of those things, only a button to take us somewhere else to Manage the plan.
If we are not XXXX - we don't see either of those things. How dumb?
Just show the Xero subscription/plan so we know what it is.
2 votesHi Sam, appreciate you sharing this idea — we understand where you're coming from.
Being able to quickly see your Xero subscription plan from within your organisation’s settings would definitely make things easier. Having to jump to a different section just to check your plan or see what features are included isn’t ideal, especially when you’re trying to make quick decisions.
At the moment, this info isn’t shown in the Organisation Settings, but you can view your plan by going to My Xero from the main menu and clicking on the Subscriptions tab. That’s where you’ll find your current plan and any add-ons.
This idea is now in the Gaining Support stage. If this change would make things simpler for you, feel free to vote or leave a comment — your feedback helps us understand what matters most and where we can improve.

Adding "to" name to invoices
Update invoice file names to include both the invoice number and recipient name? For example: “SI-1055 John Smith” instead of just “SI-1055” — so it’s easier to identify when printing or saving documents.

Add Payments option on Invoices - please revert back its functionality.
The Add Payments option on Invoices no longer accepts commas eg. 1,000 and no longer provides the ability to calculate within that field. The older version of Xero had these features making it much easier to do everything wihin xero, instead of using external calculators...

Exclude Auto Save from History and Notes
Exclude new auto save updates from History and Notes. It made sense to save these when it was manual but now it just clutters the history so badly with every auto save creating a new entry.
7 votesThanks for sharing your feedback with us. Though not a direct solution of what’s being asked here we wanted to share that our product team has been focused on autosave improvements to help reduce lag, and help your invoices load and save faster.
As we continue to develop invoicing in Xero, our team will keep considering how autosave events are displayed in your invoice history. We'll share any future updates on reducing these events or providing more control over what you see, here. Thanks

no login history for mobile app
Amazed to discover that a 'login' from the app on a mobile phone using biometrics for example, does not count as a 'login' at all and is classified by Xero as an 'unlocking' event, but this is not logged or tracked at all (that we users can see). So in effect the 'Login History' in 'Settings' is completely flawed. This is also not recognised in 'History & Notes' unless the user actually makes changes. So if they are just in there viewing stats etc. they are invisible. This is really not ideal.
I would like to see app logins included in the 'login history' or in a separate list dedicated to app logins if that is not possible.Amazed to discover that a 'login' from the app on a mobile phone using biometrics for example, does not count as a 'login' at all and is classified by Xero as an 'unlocking' event, but this is not logged or tracked at all (that we users can see). Xero Central - Add changelogs to Xero Central Support pages
Things like tax returns change fairly frequently. Not all new features are entirely self-explanatory. Xero Support's Articles are simple and aimed at giving new users basic information, but often lack the detail to be used as an ongoing resource.
I'd suggest adding changelogs to Xero Central Support pages/articles for existing products that have been updated.
For example the IR6 tax return has changed in the 2025 year to match tax law. Estates are still able to use the 33% tax rate in their first 4 years, but the return defaults to the 39% rate.
Existing users will review the Tax tab as the logical first step, then might check the IR6 support page/article. Neither have the answer.
A changelog on the support article would make it easier for users that are familiar with the product to quickly get up to speed with changes.
Product update webinars are fine, but are poor as searchable, permanent resources.

UK Payroll - Option to view leavers in History by leaving date
After the recent Xero upgrade, the ability to view leave dates disappeared from the employees' History. Instead, a column titled "Next pay day" was added, which does not seem useful because the employees have left the company.

UK payroll - Turn off automatic journal posting for payroll
As the automatic journal for payroll is not able to be viewed before posting to accounts, we should have the option to turn off automatic journals. Currently, we have to post, then go back and do another journal to split out ER NI & Pension for different departments. This system is so unflexible.

Bank Reconciliation - Sort statement lines by most recent date
