  1. We allocated a number for each employee and would like to display it in the pay slip. It would be great if xero can allocate a space similar to the existing employee tax number.

    Thanks for voting and feeding back through Xero product ideas. You may have heard that we’re making some changes to Global Pay Run that we believe will help our customers manage payroll more effectively;

    - From 23 July 2025 Global Pay Run will become read-only. You'll still be able to see all your past payroll information, however you will not be able to process any new pay runs after this date. 

    - Global Pay run will be retired after April 2026, at which point you'll no longer be able to access pay run. 

    With this focus, we want to be upfront that there are no intentions to make improvements to Global Pay Run moving forward, and I'll move any ideas related to this to Not planned.

  2. When purchasing a subscription, there should be a 24 hour cancellation period. On many occasions I have purchased subscriptions that were not correct or not necessary. I upgraded a few of my clients to the Early Plan from the Partner Plan as we needed Hubdoc. Then we found out that Cash Coding was not included and was not stated in the plan description. At that point, I was stuck waiting for 30 days before I could correct it.

  3. Find & Match function under Bank Reconciliation only allows to search for individual invoices to then pick invoices one by one. Please introduce the option to enter multiple invoices in the search field using a delimiter to then pick multiple invoices to reconcile. This would improve the reconciliation process materially.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback and votes for adding Westpac foreign currency account feeds, community.

    While a direct feed isn't currently available for these accounts, you can still keep up-to-date in Xero by manually importing your transactions.

    Just to give you a bit of insight into how these feeds are built – we rely on our banking partners to make specific account types available to us. The best way to get this on Westpac's radar is for them to hear directly from you, so we encourage you to reach out to them and request support for foreign currency account bank feeds.

    For this reason, we're unable to say if or when feeds might be available for these accounts, but we'll continue to keep an eye on the support for this idea, and let you know if there are any changes in this area.

  5. It would be helpful to have a "Skip" timesheet option for part-time staff to indicate that it's a non-work day (rather than assuming they've just forgotten to complete their timesheet). E.g. a checkbox above each day on the weekly timesheet that if checked would grey-out the relevant day. Rough example attached.

  7. Stop repeating invoices being changed to draft when the author/owner/user that added it has been deleted.

    Right now when a repeating invoice template has been created by a user who has since been deleted, the repeating invoice template option will be reverted to 'save as draft'.

  8. My client uses personal funds for large part of expenses. I have to enter them manually (using Spend Money) and after each entry the screen defaults back to today's date.
    Would be useful if Xero defaults to the last entered transaction date, when using Spend Money, instead to today's date.

  9. When allocating a credit note to a customer invoice we need to be able to report on this event and no date is stored at the point of allocation.

    In the current system you can see credit notes allocated against invoices only when in the documents as a credit note displays similarly to a bank payment. You can to an extent identify credit notes allocated against invoices by running reports against the Accounts Receivable ledger, filtered by source 'credit note allocation' but you cannot filter this in any way to see recent events.   10. For internal control reasons the 'invoice settings' section should be only accessible for certain access types. Anyone with Xero access (excl read only) can go and adjust the bank account manually entered on the invoices sent to customers.

    It would be great to have this locked the same way bank account admin is for supplier payments.

  11. Have the option to change the Avatar/ coloured circle with initial in email inbox, to a business logo when emails are sent from Xero on behalf of the business. I.e when sending out invoices and quotes through the Xero app.

  16. "Purchase order PDFs only include information that's relevant to your supplier. Fields such as the account code or tracking aren’t included on the PDF. "

    It may not be relevant to the supplier but it's critical for the Accounts Payable person to match and code to the relevant account. We track POs based on Property category and also if they are extras to the contract.. A printed PO is attached to the Vendor bill but we have to go back to the PO in the system to see the expense code and if it's extra to a contract.

  17. when doing allocation between an overpayment and a bill, if the invoice is dated within a locked period you are unable to do the allocation, it would be good if you could just do the allocation without having to open the period.

  18. We write paper checks for some of our clients using a blank check style format. It would be nice to be able to insert a scanned signature on the signature line on the check style. This would enable the authorized signature to print on all checks printed.

  19. Currently when you want to add a contact to a group and you have a entire list of different groups, you can not search for the group you are looking for, you have to scroll through your list. It is very frustrating not being able to search for the group.
