Activity Statement - Ability to revise through Xero
Revise Activity Statement / IAS via Xero when a client has lodged their own IAS/BAS. It would be beneficial for tracking purposes if Xero offered the facility to unlock a submitted BAS/IAS to review & amend and relodge with the ATO. Whilst these can be revised via ATO Portal there is no tracking or record of an amendment in Xero

AU Payroll - Seperate leave loading rates for weekends
Add the option for differing annual leave allowances (weekend rates) that deduct from the overall annual leave accrual.
Currently the workaround Xero has advised is setting up a "weekend annual leave" leave type with the correct leave loading for weekends and manually adjusting the leave accrual.
Alternatively, a possible solution is adding an allowance leave type "O" for reporting.

AU Tax - Remove Label 10A CTR validation error
Remove CTR validation error for label 10A when entering 0 directly into the main label which is required when using temporary full expensing under the simplified depreciation rules. Instead you are required to create a nil schedule to remove this error and report correctly which is pointless.

Workpapers - Client Queries
We are using the 'Client Queries' function for the first time this year.
In Workpapers, each time a request for information is sent to a client, the 'Queries History' logs that an email was sent to the client, however there is no record of the content of the email sent for the client.
We usually would save all emails to clients on file so that anything can be clarified if needed, but have noticed there is no ability to view the email content.

Xero HQ | Staff - Ability to bulk assign access for 'File MTD VAT Return'
No option to select 'File MTD VAT Return' in bulk for clients when setting up a new staff member in Xero HQ. After assigning the clients in bulk for a new staff member you have to then go into each client individually to give this permission.

Xero Tax (UK) | Ability to choose rounding accounts
It would be really useful to be able to apply rounding adjustment (similar to those on the SOCE) for items in the accounts, but done on the face of the accounts. For example a use of home allowance will be a journaled amount each year, usually the same year on year. On a large number of accounts that i have produced recently this is rounded up one year and then rounded down the next year. This makes the accounts look messy and no amount of journaling the figures on the trial balance (which wastes significant time) will get this to…

Personal Tax (UK) | Add ability to track capital allowances
In personal tax there appears to be no provision to enter capital allowance for self employment in the form of a schedule which personal tax can keep year to year. This would help when writing down existing assets as well as adding and claiming for new assets differentiating the assets between main pool/special rate pool and assets with a personal use element to enter the percentage to apply.

Management Reports Pack - Add the standard compare tracking categories P&L to the Management Reports Pack
It would be great if you could add the standard compare tracking caterogies P&L to the management reports pack. At present, the only way to get it into the pack is to create a custom report, but this locks in the tracking categories selected and any future categories added are omitted.

Workpapers - Integration of bank statement request portal
Integrate a bank statement generator into bank feeds so accountants and bookkeepers can send a request directly to the clients bank for a bank statement for quarterly bank reconciliation. Pre-approved by client when bank feed integration is setup. Alternatively, automated bank statements per quarter generated and uploaded to Xero via bank automation.

Xero HQ - Alphabetise client list in Xero staff
At the moment Xero doesn't have a list of clients in alphabetical order when I go into Staff to amend access. With over 200 clients, it is taking a long time to sort it all out, even if I use the search box.
Please include functionality so that the client list in Staff is in alphabetical order by default, the same as it was in My Xero staff.
I would also like to see a number value next to the staff member's name showing how many clients they have access to. Again, similar to the set up in My Xero…6 votes -

We should be able to Import data from Xero Ledger to Xero tax to Label 11 and 18 and other non business schedule labels. Currenly we cannot import dividends, interest and other expenses for investment entities which do not operate a business

Practice manager | Clients - History (new clients and amendments)
Currently is it not possible to generate an exception report showing new clients added during the previous month, quarter or year. This is an important piece of reporting for CRM purposes. Similarly, it would be nice to generate an exception report showing client changes with appropriate attribute filters.

XPM - Relationships - Add Share Class Type
The ability to add share class in relationships.
Currently you can only add the number of shares.
However, we have a lot of companies that have different share class types (A Class, B Class, ORD Class etc).
SUGGEST: adding a field under number of shares where you can type the share class (see attached example).This is a critical feature for our firm that is missing from XPM.

Workpapers - Option to show Decimal Places
When using Xero Workpapers, it imports the figures across from the Xero client file without decimals. Therefore, when I'm comparing these figures in Workpapers to client reports and bank statements these are often slightly out.
Can you please update Workpapers so that there is an option to show decimal places?

Hubdoc - Extract & compare bank account information from invoice documents
I would like to request that HubDoc extract bank account and GST Numbers from uploaded invoices and compare the information to the information stored in the contact in formation in Xero.
Suppliers provide us with their bank account information on each invoice for payment, I'd like to make sure we know if they change their bank account information.

Permissions | Provide bank admin access to staff from HQ
All other access roles can be done from HQ, except for this one.

Hubdoc - Make the 'Document too large to attach' message a hyperlink
when xero says 'Document too large to attach. View in Hubdoc' when viewing an invoice, could you make that a hyperlink so i can just click on the link to hubdoc, saves copy & paste, thanks.

Hubdoc - Publish receipt to existing Xero bill
Allow Hubdoc to publish a receipt to an existing 'BILL' in Xero without creating and new transaction and duplicating the amount. Failure to do this forces the user to upload the receipt directly into Xero files instead or opt not to use the BILL feature in Xero and publish transitions in real time from Hubdoc instead. For those wishing to have all their receipts in a magical shoe box in the cloud (Hubdoc) it appears that this would be a way forward.
