    Thanks for the idea and support here, all. We appreciate the valuable feedback on this idea. While we understand that the ability to easily add employees to the + menu would be beneficial to your workflows, we don't have direct plans for making this change within the create new menu in the foreseeable future.

    We appreciate this is not the news you’d like around this but we do want to be upfront with you here to help you make the best decisions as needed for your businesses.

  2. It would be useful to have deductions in tax returns checked to categories established by ATO Benchmarks.

  3. To make it easier to create jobs in XPM it would be useful to have a link to create a new job once you have unsuccessfully searched to see if there is a job already set up for the client. At present you have to log out of job search then create a new job, which involves finding the client name again.

  4. Xero sign/Adobe sign

    Esigning and the portal is excellent and very useful.

    I get worried unlike when you use Adobe DC directly, Xero Sign does not give trails of who signed back to you.

    Whilst probably not too likely things were not signedd correctly, I think we need more robust authentication with the IP address and the email address that was used to login being recorded into a report.

    The drill down to confirm the transaction is not very helpful and I cannot work out in the secured pdf where to easily see thse things.

    Most other providers have better…

  6. Users can scan their invoices via mobile app when they don’t have an internet connection.

    Purpose: To make sure that the invoices/documents didn’t get lost in the Hubdoc app when the internet connection is intermittent.

  7. Suggestion to have the ability to enter 'Ad Hoc' time in the same place you enter time for jobs - i.e. in the Timesheets screen, rather than going through the 'Global Search' screen.

    You would select a client first, then select Ad Hoc Time or a job (if an active one exists).

    Also, when selecting a client, it would also be handy to be able to start typing a few letters from anywhere within the client name, rather than having to type the first letter or scroll down using the picklist.

  8. It would be great if there was an 'Other' category tagging option under PPE.

    We have PPE in our ledgers that doesn't sit under any of the options currently available.

  9. Allow for rules to be placed on what to do when data is missing or unable to be grabbed. Ideally for these to be linked by which supplier the order is from or even setting global rules

    Specific Ideas:
    -Setting a default Global Due by date when missing
    -Setting a specific stock line(s) to apply stock to by supplier
    -Setting not to overwrite cost price with default cost price in system.

  10. Currently the only way to view form fields for Xero Blue invoicing and email templates is in the editor, without an in-depth explanation as to what field actually does. More detail into which field does what would be appreciated, as some are a bit confusing just based off the name.

    Thanks for sharing in the community here, Evangeline. Although not in the template itself, as Ethan shared earlier our Xero Central article outlines and provides description of the merge fields that are available and what these relate to.

    Being open, we don't have intentions of surfacing this directly inside Xero, however we have integrated our content from Xero Central with the help menu in the product and you should be able to look up and find this sort of detail from relevant pages in the product (such as Invoice Settings). Depending what you type, Xero maybe also able to generate an answer for you to save you even having to click through to the content 😊

    Thanks for your input here, everyone. Our team is currently looking into adding a document merge feature into their roadmap. However, no dates are planned for when this will be implemented. 


    That said, we’ll move the status of the idea into ‘Under review’, so please continue to add your vote and give us your comment on how this feature can improve your workflow. 


    For now, you can merge your documents outside Hubdoc, then upload/email it into Hubdoc. Feel free to also share some options here on how you merge the documents before you put it into Hubdoc.

    Hi community, thanks for sharing how we can improve Hubdoc for your business. While we'll continue to review and consider these sort of integrations overtime, we want to open that we don't have plans to integrate Hubdoc with Onedrive at this time.
