If we request the income tax client report through Xero, the due dates update in the client detail level, but not in the tax return if they have already been created.
Being able to bulk update the due dates within the tax return, especially when deferrals are requested and successful with the ATO would be helpful as manually updating them all can be time consuming.2 votes -

Practice Manager - Report for the Total Invoiced per staff
Report that can generate invoices per JOB manager.
Currently there is no report that can generate these data in the report builder.Report that contains the following data:
- Invoice Date
- Invoice No
- Client
- Job Number or Job Summary
- Invoiced Amount (GST exclusive)
- Job Manager (not the account manager)
we tried to generate using the data above using the WIP ledger per staff but when we add all of them, it does not equal the report generated through Invoice Report.
This will be useful when you would like to see how much each staff invoiced per month.2 votes -
Hubdoc - Replicate Xero HQ access in Hubdoc
Need a better user management/access experience in HubDoc. Currently the practice user who set up the Hubdoc account needs to invite all other practice users into the client. Would it be possible to merge the Hubdoc access into the Xero HQ access or replicate the HQ access system in HubDoc.

Xero Tax AU - Add Compare Functionality to schedules
For the prior year comparable option in Xero - The compare functionality is only on the main forms, but can you include on schedules?? The prior year comparables only seem to appear re the Form C Disclosures, not any accompanying schedules - would love this feature to be so the comparison can be printed out

NZ Tax - Edit the name of PDF attached in tax payment letter emails
Would be cool to be able to edit the name of the PDF attachment sent with the Tax Payments emails from "PaymentLetter" to a name that is more specific to the client.
Would be particularly helpful where a client has multiple entities to pay tax for.
Possibly use XPM merge fields for the pdf file name? for example "{Client} Payment Letter due {PaymentDueDate}"

When adding signature placeholders in financial statements etc, put the placeholder where cursor is and not at the top of the page.

AU Payroll: Filter superannuation payments screen
Multi select or more filter options when processing superannuation payments. This would expediate processing super payments for large employers. For example, you should be able to filter the super payment to show only last month super and select all and submit for payment. At the moment, if we want to process the previous month's super, we have to manually unselect each employee super that relates to the next month or quarter that we aren't required to pay yet.

Practice Manager | Reporting Fields - Invoicing
It would be great if we could report on more fields in XPM - in this instance, who does an invoice in XPM. There is a history section in the invoice, but there is no way to add this data to a report. E.g. I am using a 'job report' that includes the 'Date Last Invoiced', and it would be great if we could also show 'who created the invoice' (and/or approved and exported). We have tried adding a custom field on the job to allocate the staff member, but as this is manual, it would be a lot easier…

Reports - Show Net column in Debtor reports
It would be really helpful to be able to able to pull off a debtor report showing the NET figures, not gross. As i am continually being requested by IF to reproduce debtors report as net as they don't fund the VAT !

Multicurrency - Process multi-currency transactions without using suspense account
Initially, creating bills other than the base currency, and paying it with a different currency is not available in Xero, even when the other currencies are properly added in the settings.
For example:
base currency- GBP
bills - AED
Payment - EUR using EUR bank account.To resolve this, you have to use a suspense account. But this is a tedious process.
I hope Xero can do something to enable payment in a different currency for this case.

Xero Sign - Ability to add a 'Date' field
When uploading a set of annual accounts to Xero Sign, the only option available is to add a signature field.
For company and trust annual accounts, we typically also include a minute and sometimes other resolutions (created from a Xero report pack). It would be great to able to insert a date field in the minute, like you can with other e-signing platforms.
The current workaround is to use another e-signing service to send the annual accounts, and use Xero Sign for the tax returns - which adds confusion for our clients and we're often having to chase them up…

Practice Manager | Report - Starred Clients
Is it possible to have the starred clients as feature in reports? If we export a client list, we can't see which clients are the 'starred' (main contact for the group in our case). It would be super handy when trying to get a list of our main contacts and easily remove the clients that aren't starred.

Workpapers - Ability to edit Internal queries
Ability to edit review point, internal query and client query responses.
Currently once you click reply to an Internal Query or review point or client query in workpapers there is no option to edit. This is frustrating if you make a spelling error or accidentally respond to the wrong query. It would be great to have the ability to be able to edit these responses if necessary.

Xero Sign | Document Packs - Allow bulk signing when client has multiple documents to sign
Would be great to have an option for clients to bulk sign a document pack e.g. similar to Docusign where multiple pdf's are treated as one document.
At the moment, if there was a document pack with 15 BAS's, the client would have to click into the individual document, click the signature boxes and click to confirm signature. They then have to click into the next document and repeat the same process another 14 times.
Would be good to have a feature/option we can select when sending out the document, so the client can sign the documents in bulk.

Personal Tax (UK) | Information pulling through from HQ
When you create a tax return for a client, the system doesn't pull through their address or email, this need to be automated from the info in HQ. Not sure why it doesn't pull through, when it pulls through NI number and UTR, why doesn't it pull through address or email, we have to physically select it from drop down box

We would like the option to convert a Client to a Contact in XPM and visa versa. This would allow us to quickly update relationships.

Reports - Add option to include/exclude overpayments in Aged Payables Report
add overpayments to the filter feature so that these can excluded - this is especially helpful when transactions are posted to overpayments whilst awaiting o/bs from last year, so we don't want it to affect amounts due for bills/invoices being posted for the current FY

AU Tax - Franking Account: Ability to reorder rows chronologically
When entering in the Franking Account in a tax return, you should be able to reorder the rows if you enter a date that is not in chronological order. Or alternatively, the system should be smart enough to re-order the rows based on date.

Practice Manager | Select multiple relationships at once
It would be great if we could have the ability to apply multiple relationships to a single entity at once, perhaps as a multiple checkboxes. So for example, when setting up a company, we might have one person who is the Director, Secretary, Public Officer and Shareholder but at the moment we need to add these in one at a time.
