  1. It'd be great if we could have a "Mark as Complete" option for Document Packs. We've got a bunch of Doc Packs that will forever sit in 'sent' because of various reasons and it would be great to clean them up.

  2. Have the ability to add extra info to the top level view of a client, or members of a client group, within XPM such as ABN or TFN without having to open the client record to find the details - particularly helpful for large client groups with many entities and individual members

  3. Please can we have a simple Tax Return Status report that we can run by tax year (or other appropriate filters) that shows all the relevant fields that I can see on personal tax return screen.

    This way we would be able to run a report for a particular tax year and see who we still have to do by way of a control check. This would also be useful on the company tax and accounts side

  4. It would be helpful if XPM could automatically select 'Split Provisional 50/50' for clients since the system already has the information from the IRD to do this. This would stop clients future provisional tax showing incorrectly on a current tax return and in tax payment reminders and would instead ensure the figures advised to pay agreed to the IRD's figures without us having to manually intervene.

  5. Revise Activity Statement / IAS via Xero when a client has lodged their own IAS/BAS. It would be beneficial for tracking purposes if Xero offered the facility to unlock a submitted BAS/IAS to review & amend and relodge with the ATO. Whilst these can be revised via ATO Portal there is no tracking or record of an amendment in Xero

  6. I normally download publish failed documents, and then archive them. One day, I lost the downloaded files. I try to find them from Hubdoc archive folder. However, I can’t find date of archive. I’m really worried about I download duplicated files and enter them into Xero. I hope Hubdoc can add When the documents have been archived includ date and time. So to avoid duplicated documents enter into Xero.

  7. We have an Income Tax Client Report (ITCRPT Report) which links to the ATO and shows us who still needs to be lodged and their due date. We would like to add jobs to it so we can see the progress of their associated tax return job. Xero Support have advised currently, it is not possible to include any extra details to the ITCRPT Report.

  9. Ability to edit review point, internal query and client query responses.

    Currently once you click reply to an Internal Query or review point or client query in workpapers there is no option to edit. This is frustrating if you make a spelling error or accidentally respond to the wrong query. It would be great to have the ability to be able to edit these responses if necessary.

  12. We use client codes for all our clients. There is an option to input this into the client record, but it would be good to be able to see that on the screen and sort by it, rather than just alphabetical list of clients.

Would it be possible to combine the features of Custom reports (in particular the ability to set them as default reports and favourite them for access from the Reports drop-down) with Adviser reports (the ability to format using report codes and practice-wide sharing across any number of client organisations)?

    Right now, a practice has to decide between:

    Customising reports on a per-client basis - an incredibly time-consuming task to set up

    or

    Drafting an Adviser report every time - which can't be set as a default report on the Reports home screen or favourited for easy access and therefore takes…

  14. GST reminders
    Like the Tax reminders for provisional and student loan but for GST and maybe even PAYE, so if you create and file the GST return though Practice Manger it feeds back info on what is outstanding and what has been paid with the option of sending reminders out to clients on payments due about a week out from the final date.

  17. When entering in the Franking Account in a tax return, you should be able to reorder the rows if you enter a date that is not in chronological order. Or alternatively, the system should be smart enough to re-order the rows based on date.

  18. Report that can generate invoices per JOB manager.
    Currently there is no report that can generate these data in the report builder.

    Report that contains the following data:

    • Invoice Date
    • Invoice No
    • Client
    • Job Number or Job Summary
    • Invoiced Amount (GST exclusive)
    • Job Manager (not the account manager)

    we tried to generate using the data above using the WIP ledger per staff but when we add all of them, it does not equal the report generated through Invoice Report.
    This will be useful when you would like to see how much each staff invoiced per month.

  19. Would be cool to be able to edit the name of the PDF attachment sent with the Tax Payments emails from "PaymentLetter" to a name that is more specific to the client.

    Would be particularly helpful where a client has multiple entities to pay tax for.

    Possibly use XPM merge fields for the pdf file name? for example "{Client} Payment Letter due {PaymentDueDate}"
