  1. I would like the Business Performance graph to remain. Its a useful visual and instant reminder of the performance.

Additionally adding the VAT liability to the home screen would be extremely useful. Yes I know it changes daily, however a good insight for business and management of cash flow in an instant (without having to produce reports).

The contents of the proposed Task Bar is just a duplication of information that's already on the home screen therefore not useful to add them collectively on 1 widget. To be able to add our own written task and reminders on a calendar…

Really good to hear you exploring the new homepage, Estela.

We ask that each idea is contained to one feature request so that it's easy for other members to understand what they're voting for and we can best keep you updated on any progress on a feature. I've slightly amended the title of your idea here for the first you've shared on the Business Performance dashboard.

We appreciate hearing how you find this useful, however we want to be upfront that we don't have intentions of adding this to the new Homepage, to make way for new features that will be coming soon. You'll be able to continue accessing key information from the Business Performance Dashboard page.

The Tax & Reporting widget has been replaced by a new sales tax widget, and depending on your region this will be available in the next 12 months. We also have an idea

  2. We don't need to see this link against every bank account on the homepage. The link in the ellipsis is enough.

Hey Jonathan., I completely understand that you personally don’t need the Import bank statement option there.

However, we’ve chosen to keep it visible because, across all Xero organisations, it’s actually one of the most frequently used actions on the bank widget.

Many businesses still rely on manual statement uploads at different times – for example when a bank doesn’t support feeds, there’s a gap in the data, or a feed is temporarily unavailable.

So while it might not be something you use every day, it’s a key shortcut for a lot of other customers, which is why it still appears on the homepage.

If your feeds are working well, you can safely ignore it – it’s simply there as a convenient backup when it’s needed.

  3. Automatically show new bank accounts on the Homepage
When a new bank account is added in Xero, it currently defaults to being hidden until the user manually clicks “Add to homepage.” This creates an extra, unnecessary step.
    Suggestion:
Have newly added bank accounts appear on the Homepage by default, with the option to hide them if users prefer. This would streamline the setup process and reduce friction for users who expect new accounts to be visible immediately.

Thanks so much for getting in touch and sharing how you feel about how new bank accounts show on the homepage.

On the new Xero homepage we’ve updated this experience so you have more control. Your very first bank account still appears automatically on the homepage so you can immediately see your key banking information.

After that, when you connect any additional bank accounts, you’ll see a banner on the homepage letting you know there are new accounts available. From there you can choose to add them to the homepage with one click, or dismiss the banner and keep your current layout as it is.

We landed on this approach after testing and speaking with lots of customers: the strong preference was to always be able to see when a new account is available, while still having the choice about which accounts appear on the homepage.

    You can also change…

  4. For business entities with several bank accounts (a dozen or more), it would be nice to have a "Refresh all bank feeds" button/dropdown somewhere on the Homepage, rather than having to individually refresh the bank feeds for each account.

Thanks for the suggestion about having a single “Refresh all bank feeds” option on the new homepage – we understand how helpful that could be when you’re managing lots of accounts.

At this stage we’re not planning to add this because different banks and feed types have strict security, MFA and rate-limit rules, so a bulk refresh could try to update accounts you’re not authorised to refresh and may not reliably refresh every account.

For now, refresh still needs to be done per account, but we’ve captured your feedback so it can be considered as we review future improvements to the bank feeds experience.
