Homepage - Business Performance dashboard
I would like the Business Performance graph to remain. Its a useful visual and instant reminder of the performance.
Additionally adding the VAT liability to the home screen would be extremely useful. Yes I know it changes daily, however a good insight for business and management of cash flow in an instant (without having to produce reports).
The contents of the proposed Task Bar is just a duplication of information that's already on the home screen therefore not useful to add them collectively on 1 widget. To be able to add our own written task and reminders on a calendar would be a fantastic tool. Currently i have a set list of reminders on google. I would prefer to have this facility on xero and therefore activities / task etc fully transparent. Often Bookkeepers have their own reminders etc and if we ever take time off (very rare!), at least a colleague / directors know important reminders.
Really good to hear you exploring the new homepage, Estela.
We ask that each idea is contained to one feature request so that it's easy for other members to understand what they're voting for and we can best keep you updated on any progress on a feature. I've slightly amended the title of your idea here for the first you've shared on the Business Performance dashboard.
We appreciate hearing how you find this useful, however we want to be upfront that we don't have intentions of adding this to the new Homepage, to make way for new features that will be coming soon. You'll be able to continue accessing key information from the Business Performance Dashboard page.
The Tax & Reporting widget has been replaced by a new sales tax widget, and depending on your region this will be available in the next 12 months. We also have an idea started for the ability to view a running total of VAT that you can follow for updates.
It's also great to understand the different ways our customers feel Tasks could be enhanced and we there's another idea similar to what you've shared, where we'll share if there's progress of this.

Widget/feature/icon
The old Xero Homepage had a Business Performance/Current Ratio widget/icon, showing an overall progressive graph/tracker line of the Business Cash liquidity current ratio. The new Xero homepage does not have this option anywhere that I can see it. ...?
The Edit homepage options don't have this feature. ...?
Of it is there, it's not clear what it's called or what I need to add.... -

It would be great to be able to view business performance analytics like we could on the old homepage, eg gross profit and net profit comparisons for the prior 12 months.

Can we still have the business performance table on the home page? I do a weekly accounts reporting using this, and I am sure other companies do too

For clients it would be good to have a widget on the main dashboard showing each bank with its balance as of today with combined total balance underneath. perhaps with a forecast column beside the balances for the short term based on history. It would be a very small widget but give instant actual cash position.

Currently we have tasks scheduled 18 months ahead. We also created a quote with the prices and they are linked to the job tasks when we generate the job. We should be able to get a cashflow forecast based on the scheduled task and the price quoted. The price can be calculated or fixed. the individual prices need to be forecasted by the item in the quote with the price. rather than by the total quote.

It would be helpful to show this by currency as well
