Why is this not already a feature?

Very important as our accountant is not a full time employee. Please add feature, shouldn't be too difficult, if it's already possible at another stage...

When can we expect to get this feature added XERO.

So important for a small business

I use repeating invoices. but there are times I take bookings which maybe 6 months in the future so rather than send an invoice out immediately i can send it nearer the date the booking is required.

This would be a significant help for me and my business

Not only to be sent, but I would like to prepare future one time sales invoices without the invoice number being created until the actual day. We're using Xero in Spain, and it's illegal to skip and invoice number like this, as it looks like we're backdated other invoices

My idea is simple - a function similar to Gmail and Outlook where you can schedule the time to send your quote/invoice.

This will benefit many small business owners who work late nights or early mornings, it will make you look more professional sending a quote/invoice during business hours.

Yes, please add this feature. It would help me sleep better at night! :-) Seriously, I do not understand why this feature does not exist. Think about all of us who go on vacation and want to know that invoices will go out as planned.

please - this is a really simple request

This needs to be done to cover annual leave and instances where advance preparation is required. Such a simple requirement - why is this not available in 2022!

Please, please, PLEASE add this feature Xero! This would make a world of difference to our business and that of others by the sounds.

As a small business this means I can set them to be sent if I am away at the end of the month and not have to worry about logging in while away!

Without setting up repeating invoices, would like to be able to schedule stage payment invoices from a quote and email out at scheduled dates.

we have stage payment and it would be so useful to be able to set them up at the beginning of the project rather than having to set ourselves reminders to do them later

Is there any way on Xero to schedule the emailing of multiple invoices? For example, when there are large contracts for work spread out across a period of months, I raise several *predated* invoices, one for each month and I send all them to the client's customer. If it was me getting them, I could easily put them in Xero with the relevant advance dates on and it would be fine. But...the client's customers want them sent in the month they are dated for. Because there may be several customers like this, I would have to keep a spreadsheet of which invoices need sending on various dates across the months, which is time consuming and a lot of extra work. The work and costs for each of the customers are different each month, so they aren't 'repeating' as such. So, my question is... I need to schedule the sending of multiple invoices in advance - is there anything in Xero that could help me with this? I've looked but can't see anything obvious, maybe there is a workaround that you know about?

The Xero response was (long story short) no, it can't be done. Scheduled email sending can be done in Outlook for Windows though, so that's what I'll be doing in the absence of an in-Xero solution.

This would be an extremely valuable feature within Xero for our business.

We had the same problem, now we have an awesome team of Virtual Assistants who send out all our invoices on the date we want them sent. We tried the external app recommended but it didn't work. This is the best way. Contact me at Virtual Assistants Australia if you'd like more info.

Can't believe this still hasn't been solved - Xero is great for a small business until you realise you need to have full time accounts person to click send on the invoices!
