Ability to send an automatic statement to customer

Whilst not automated there is a way to send statements to all (or selected) customers as follows:
Go to Business > Invoices > Send Statements. From here you can tick the box beside 'Name' to select all customers and then select 'Email' like you would if you were sending individually from a customers account.
Hope this might help some of you until Xero automate statements!

Well, since XERO doesn't care to read, respond or change anything. I'm moving all my companies to Sage Online. Pricing is the same, the system is user friendly and the support from them is amazing. Xero truely is a joke.

Auto send statements on preset dates.i know this is a paid add on but who wants to pay $10 a month for such a basic setting every other account package has as standard

Automated client statements - have the option to send out client statements on a monthly basis ie 1st of each month

This woould reduce the workload of following up non paying clients. Of course a report shoudl be generated advsing the statement has been sent

wow, EIGHT years now since the idea was shared, six months on from the update and no nearer...???!!
As others have said, it surely really have been a standard feature by now.

While Xero doesn't support this natively if you can afford an extra 3rd party app. Paidnice (https://paidnice.com/) supports invoice reminders for email + SMS. It can handle all the uses you have outlined below Caz..

Some, not all, of our clients require statements, being able to automate this with a check box and monthly date would save a lot of time and hassle

All users of Xero need to remember that Xero is not interested on addressing our commends, issues and needs.
Xero is in this game SOLELY to make money out of us.
This has been proven by their customer service and responses time and time again. -
