in fact just revert everything back to how it was before all these needless alterations, my staff have to come to me now with issues of part order deliverys from suppliers , the billing system is now to complicated

please revert back to the old way of copy to bill
the new version is awful

Would it be so terribly hard to add the feature to the actual invoice. We used to have this ability.

Folks, the more we just keep commenting here, the more Xero can just ignore us. We need to start leveraging their system to support our goals.

Each time one of these issues arises, every single person needs to make a support ticket. If they offer no solution, refuse to close the ticket or make a new one.

They will be using a ticket system like Zendesk, and those are used as KPI indicators at high-level meetings with executives...the sort of meetings where KPIs actually mean things and where said KPIs also eventually find their way into annual share reports.

So, if there are a lot of open tickets, questions will be asked as to why...questions whose answers we can affect by refusing to bend to Xero's gaslighting.

We need to start hitting Xero where it will have an impact on those high enough up the ladder that can easily ignore our complaints here in this forum.

Couple that with commenting on every social media post you see to get the word out publicly. For example, every time you see Xero's ad on Facebook for 90% off for new customers, make a comment so other folks see it. I have a templated comment that I post every time I see their ads. I'm already starting to see more activity each time I post it.

this is driving me bonkers. I despise xero for ignoring their customers, REMOVING great features while also spending trucks loads on advertising to attract new customers.

Do a good job and we'll do all the referrals for free.

Absolute joke taking away a necessary function and no clarification on why or even if the function will be reinstated.

Hi All

Could you please have the copy to bills after creating an invoice back as it is not seamless when you have to go back into the invoice section and tick the invoice only to select the tabs for copy to bills.

I have added posts to all of @Xero s social media channels asking Xero to respond to their userbase community's comments, because ignoring the comments as Xero have been doing since last year is a complete insult. I urge all Xero users to do the same and also connect with @Xero UK GM on LinkedIn and ask him the same question, if enough of us do it someone has to respond.

Please update this function asap. we hope we can still use this function in new invoicing, because I go to the invoice list , need to copy one by one and the number sometimes not subsequence.

I agree with all other comments in that being able to copy an invoice to a purchase order is significantly important to our business and if not fixed prior to switching off classic invoicing will cause lengthy delays to our billing process, and something as a business we will not be able to tolerate. Your userbase have been requesting this basic accounting function to be provided ever sine we were first aware it was not being copied over to the new invoicing system so Xero cannot say they have not had enough notice to prioritise its development. If Xero switch the classic invoicing off without providing the development or at least a workaround, we will also need to stop our subscription and find another platform. I have never heard of anything so stupid from a software company's proposed product development, you should be looking to enhance your system with new releases, not restrict basic functionality, whilst increasing subscription fees. A complete joke!

This is becoming hugely frustrating not being able to 'Copy to Purchase Order' from Invoice. This is critical for tracking aspects of my business. The new invoicing is already very annoying with having to make more steps/clicks to do basics.

Please could Xero confirm if this is in the pipeline? If not I will be looking to move to another platform.

Need this brought into the new UI ASAP please.

This was a feature... which has now been removed in "new" invoicing. Absolutely needs to be brought in to new invoicing again.

Please help to add on the feature copy the bill from invoice soonest. We are really need it before retire classic invoicing, now we everyday always switching to classic invoicing, because it really helps us . Thanks

Not a new idea an existing function on the classic invoicing that can not be done on the new invoicing system. I have previously asked this in Xero discussions.

I really require this function and would like to know if it will become available with the new invoicing system?

Seem strange that you can copy an invoice to a bill, but not a bill to an invoice? It does not seem like such a difficult feature to add? Might not be relevant to all users, but to some users it would be such an easy and time saving feature???
