UK Payroll - Leave Balances Report
Create the report "Leave Balances". This report is available in the AUS version of Xero and is useful when calculating annual leave expense
Thanks everyone for your continued feedback on the need for a Leave Balances Report in UK Payroll. We appreciate you all taking the time to vote, comment, and share how this feature would improve your workflow.
Currently the options for viewing this information is via individual payslips or within each employee’s leave tab.
As part of a wider review into improving UK Payroll reporting, we’re moving the status of this idea to Accepted. We agree a Leave Balances Report is a valuable addition and it’s something we want to address.
While it isn’t on our immediate roadmap right now, it is formally on our radar for consideration as we plan future payroll updates. We will share another update here when we have more news on our plans.

Unbelievable that Xero doesn not allow us to run this report. And at the same time Xero update standard reports with no specific benefits except cosmetics; ridiculous!

PLEASE can we have Leave Reports for UK payroll showing both Balances and Leave Taken. I'm currently having to manually update around 30 employees every month into a spreadsheet and then share it to managers it's just so painful and time consuming. PLEASE Xero help us out in the UK!

This would be great to have in the UK. We log leave and is very frustrating not being able to run a report with what leave has been logged apart from trawling through lists of employees.

I think a leave report as already on the Australian and NZ system would fit this requirement so should eb easy to add.

Really need this - it's causing an audit problem not having this report as well as the obvious issue of not being able to see easily who needs to be encouraged to take leave before the end of the year.

How do you make provisions for annual leave in xero if you have no report or bases to calculate this and how do you know what is the leave balance etc with out having to look up every employee individually.

I cannot believe that this is not a feature. There are no payroll, employee reports. Seriously poor for a payroll system. Sage had numerous, length of service, diary reports, sickness and annual leave. These are essential business critical reports.
