AU Payroll - Employee Remuneration - Ability to view date employee last paid
Payroll report (or add field to existing), "date employee last paid".
We have a lot of seasonal adhoc casuals, it would be good to have a column in payroll reports showing the last pay-period they were paid in. We'd use this to off-board employees we haven't paid in a certain period of time (i.e. 12 months). AU Payroll - Warning when TFN not entered
When an employee onboards and doesn't have a Tax File Number (TFN) either because they are new to Australia and have just applied for one or they are under 18 and exempt. Xero should have a feature that warns you when they either turn 18 or they have passed the 28 days allowed to work without a TFN and it should automatically change their tax declaration to no TFN provided and change the tax withheld rate, until a TFN is provided. AU Payroll - Ability to pay staff with joint bank account in same pay run
Please enable the ability to pay staff with a joint bank account in same pay run. We currently have to pay two couples with a joint bank account into separate accounts each run. Xero does not permit two payments into the same bank account in one pay run. I have confirmed with our bank that this is not an error on their end. Xero support have informed me that this is not a function that Xero currently offers.

AU Payroll - Customised payroll report for multiple pay items
Create a customised payroll report to include multiple but not all pay items for a specific period. As an example - view all overtime payments for relevant period

NZ Payroll - Sick leave entitlements to automatically accrue when employees are included in any future pay run following their entitlement.
As a Chartered Accountant, I’ve observed an issue in Xero’s handling of sick leave entitlements that I believe warrants improvement. Currently, if an employee is not included in the pay run closest to their sick leave entitlement date, the entitlement does not accrue. This creates a significant gap in compliance with employment obligations and adds unnecessary administrative burden to correct.
To enhance the functionality and flexibility of Xero's payroll system, I think that sick leave entitlements should automatically accrue when the employee is included in any future pay run following their entitlement date. UK Payroll - Save and Next option for Timesheet approval
Save and Next option for Timesheet approval.
Rather than having to go back to the beginning for each and every timesheet approval you should be able to save and view next in the same way you can with bills.

UK Payroll - Deselect employee from entering timesheets
It would be useful to be able to deselect employees form completing time sheets and therefore not appear on the time sheet screen. We have admin staff that don't complete time sheets but I still have to submit nil time sheets to ensure all are up-to-date

AU Payroll - Payroll Reports linked under the Payroll menu
Can you please add a link to Payroll Reports under the Payroll Section. It's a simple change that would make Payroll a true one-stop shop.

NZ Payroll - History and notes in Payroll to show changes made
There should be an audit trail in Payroll detailing when changes to an Employee record is made (for example: date an address was updated for an employee and what it was until that date, likewise for other details such as email address, bank account number, tax code etc). As an Employer we should be able to rely on the digitised Payroll system we are using to determine when changes to an Employee's record has been made. AU Payroll Employee diversity field
Is there any way in employees card that we can set up a field to capture diversity (Aboriginal,Non-Binary) etc, I'm sure this will be need in the future.

Average Employee Numbers in the Year
As part of preparing accounts, the average employee number is often required. If this could be generated within Xero that would save time collating the number of employees per month and working out an average for the year. It could subsequently be used as working out the amount of revenue attributable to each staff member.

UK Payroll - Allow non employees to add timesheets through the Web or Xero Me
I would like to add CIS labourers (none employees) to payroll, so timesheets can be added like a wage slip, rather than an invoice, this would help with the likes of connecteam, with their timesheet integrations

AU Payroll - Timesheets - show submitted leave days on timesheets
When approving timesheets it would be ideal to have separate lines underneath Ordinary Hours with Leave requested, on which days and hour amounts and to be able to approve there instead of having to go to a different screen.
Can be hard to double check and remember correct days the leave was taken and also to ensure daily and weekly hours are met.

UK Payroll - Salaried employees who work changing shifts each week
In service industries like hospitality salaried employees will work a different set of shifts each week across 7 days. Currently I have to set up a working pattern and if they phone in sick on a Saturday for example if that day isnt set as their working day (i.e we set them up as Mon-Fri for ease) we have to record the sick day on the Monday to ensure it is deducted. But in these industries the working days are different each week and they dont work on a set pattern. Need the ability to set that the employee works…

UK payroll - Ability to include additional fields in Pension Contribution Report
Xero cannot current cope with companies that have more than one pension scheme. The upload I need to send to the pension provider includes payroll number, pensionable earnings for period, start date and date of birth. It would be useful if Xero had the ability to add these and additional fields if required customised in the contribution report.

Fortnightly Pay Runs to have weekly split.

UK Payroll - Reports - Backdate Posted Date/Payment Date functionality beyond August 2024
On the Gross to Net report, payments before August 2024 have a "posted date" set to the date the report was generated, which is incorrect. See attached example.
To reduce confusion, either:
- The Posted Date feature should be backdated so that payments before August 2024 show the correct "posted date"
