Timesheet Filter
Timesheets - In the old timesheet menu we were able to select which payroll the timesheets related to so I could ensure all timesheets have been completed and see who had not even created a timesheet yet. I have been unable to do this in the new experience. Is this something that will be brought in the filter option please.

Projects Driven Calendar/Schedule
Now that you have projects as well fleshed out feature. Ability to view all projects in a calendar format would be unreal.
This way my team and I can visualise at a glance in the Projects app where we should be on what date.
Based on access level will then give you ability to "Edit" the project. Select the project in the calendar then press the plus button (Same action if you have opened a project like normal) then do all the actions, or even just a subset for quick updates.

Assign projects in Dext
Open your API to Dext so projects can be assigned to bills within Dext. The current situation whereby you can upload the bill from Dext but then need to go into Xero, locate the bill and assign it to a project, is simply unacceptable. I am using other accounts software for clients and I can assign projects within Dext without having the unecessary step of having to do so within the software.

estimated expense markup
Please allow % markup on Estimated Expense to apply to all expenses in that Estimate. It's is timeconsuming and cumbersome to have to go into each individual expense and assign the % markup

More than 10 tracking categories for Landlords
Currently for businesses there is a restriction to report 10 categories for landlords. I have landlords with more than 10 properties and who want to report by property but the MTD submission won't allow more than 10.

timer
Project Timer - Please remember the task!
It would be great if the timer remembered the project and task I chose after starting the timer. I always choose the project and task, but when I come back to the app hours later to stop the timer, the timer is still running but it has forgotten the project and task I chose. So frustrating!

Moving task lines in a project into a different order
Can we have the ability to move task line to a different space...eg if i want to reorder the way job stages come in to the project. Sometimes if they get added in later than how they come across from our other program we want the ability to move that task line up to the top.

product minimum order quantities
Hi
So with Pastel you could insert the minimum quantities into the system and when you book out products when you invoice a client the system would have a automatic pop up informing you that your product qty is below the minimum order qty you have set. Please can you bring in this function. It is very time consuming for us to have to export sheets of data and to review all the products from Xero exported sheet to my excel sheets.

Purchase orders - assign to projects.
Purchase orders - assign to projects. It would be great if purchase orders or each line item from a purchase order can be assigned to a project. This can then translate to the assigned bill when the relevant supplier submits their invoice for payment. It make sense that the PO amounts are captured in project reporting. At the moment, adding a estimated expense is a secondary process that leaves room for clerical errors.

Sales invoices created in projects should be created under the user (not API) so that users can see their own invoices
Invoices created by the Projects API show in Xero accounting as "System Generated" therefore the user that created the invoice in projects cannot see the invoice or quote if they have Invoice Only + Draft.
Xero is missing just a key user level - where account managers can see and manage sales invoices, but can't delete or edit. Projects seems a good way around this limitation, but the inability to see invoices kills that.

Projects - when adding estimated tasks, enable there to be a quanitity section when selecting the fixed price items
When adding estimated tasks onto a project , add a quanitity section when selecting the fixed price items.
Some tasks for example like quoting for installation of boards per m2, we have the price per m2 set up as a code, so it would be useful to then be able to easily adjust the quanity required to get a revised sell / cost.
You currently have to calculate what the sell price would be and manually override the fixed charge. Projects
Day Rate
It would be great if we can use a day rate when creating an invoice for a project. At the moment, the rate is hourly and when an invoice is created it shows that total hours in quantity and the rate per hour; which is a bit confusing for clients who agreed on a day rate. Therefore, having the day rate and quantity as the number of days would be helpful.

calendar
i just want to use one app for everything, a calendar view to see what i have booked in would be very useful. at the moment i don't get the best use out of xero i'm running my business of multiple apps putting a calendar in xero would mean i can run the business directly from the xero platform
we have quoting, invoicing we have the ability to take payments through the app on-site but i barely do any of that within xero because its lacking a calendar.
there is no point in having "projects" without a calendar to quickly…

Sync with Google tasks
Would love to have the contact list sync with Google tasks.
None of the CRM softwares out there have a calendar that works as well as Google Tasks.
My only problem is that I have to type in the address and contact info for every single job, and there is room for input error here.
I would love to be able to start making a task in Google Tasks, and be able to type in the customer name and have the info populate automatically.

Add "item" to job
It would be great to add an "Item" to a project, that would, as a whole include, tasks and expenses.
For example, Kitchen/cabinet maker, Project is a whole house, I want to add items to the project of say, Kitchen, Laundry, Wardrobe etc.
and then either it just has a dollar value to it (no tracked time or expenses), or have the ability to add specific expenses and tasks to the item.
Then when you go to quote, all items are split apart with their expenses and tasks separate from the other items.

Add chart of account to a project task.
Add chart of account to a project task.
We have a lot of small task entries which need to appear on the invoice to a customer. The tasks (remote support / h) have a unique account (208 - remote support). When we make the invoice we have to adjust ever line item to the right account. Can this not be automated by assigning the account to the task type?

Export data with tracking categories split into columns
Add an option to export accounting data with tracking categories split into separate lines instead of combined in one field.
This would make exports much easier to use in other software, reduce manual data cleanup, and support clients who need to import Xero data into reporting tools or different accounting systems.

Allow Project Items to be Ticked in One Go
On the project tab where expenses are tracked, I have multiple items that have been delivered to a site. Currently, I have to enter every single item as invoiced. My sites have multiple units, each unit can have 20 items and every single one has to be marked as invoiced in order to gain accurate reporting. Surely, there can be a single button to mark all items as invoiced; in exactly the same way as an invoice can be attributed to a project. Please!
