  1. Can XPM/Xero tax add a scheduled send feature? So that we can schedule tax returns/BAS returns to be sent at a set time and day to the client for signing? Content snare, Outlook etc all have these features and its very much missing from XPM.

  3. This request is for an additional “Trading As” name (or T/A) field to be added to XERO on “Contact” level. This T/A name must then also appear on the client invoices below the entity Legal Name. This T/A field must also be available separately on Client reporting level.

    Examples of current problems we are experiencing:
    The “Contact name” field is used to populate the name of the entity on the Invoices and various Reporting.

    This "Name field" in most applications or software programs must only contain the entity formal Legal Name. As several of our clients use a "Trading As"…

  5. Xero announced yesterday that the search via TFN and ABN are now both possible from the Client list. I have tested and we can still only search by using the TFN. ABN search is still not working.
    Is anyone else experiencing this same issue.

  6. When using the new Xero Beta FRS102 IA module based in Xero blue, You can lock the accounts to be sent for signature. But this is not reflected in the Xero Company accounts and tax module on Xero HQ, where the lists of what has and hasn't been done for workflow is kept. It seems to continue to show in progress in the status bar as well. This is important for maintaining Audit trails of who does the review and when things can be sent out.
    The final review on the CT600 is still there.

  8. We have a number of Trust who now have "Special Trust Advisors" appointed by Deeds. I would like to be able to add in Special Trust Advisors as a relationship in trusts.

    It would be really useful to be able to customise the relationship options in all business categories

  9. Company business structure tax returns should pull the physical address to the Dividends and Interests schedule, instead of the Postal address. It is not correct to put a PO Box or postal address in the schedule and you are not able to update the address field.

    Currently only Partnership tax returns will pull the physical address to the Dividends and Interests schedule.

  11. The ability to change the default button on a new bill to 'submit for approval' rather than 'save' - or whatever option works best for each organisation. Our processes require a separate person to approve the bills before they are paid. It is too easy to click 'save' or even 'approve' instead of 'submit for approval'.

  13. Make it possible to claim Land Remediation relief against profits. Should be a simple box addition to the existing form layout. Similar to how R&D currently is where you can claim against profits but not claim the credit when in a loss position.

  14. I have a number of Trust clients where we expect an assessment. The ATO takes a LONG time to issue these, so I think it would be good to have a similar Notice of Assessment flag like we do for individuals, so we can see which are still outstanding.
    Not all trusts have assessments but we should be able to trigger this by the question on the front page of the return about whether the trustee has tax payable.

  15. We manage user access centrally across thousands of clients and hundreds of users, and Managing Staff Access in Xero HQ and in Staff settings is very messy, particularly when Client Names and Xero Organisation names differ.

    Xero HQ only searches over the client name and legal name, so if the Xero Org name is different, we can't find it, and causes confusion and time wasting, particularly when trying to edit staff access.
    Staff permissions screens only shows the client name (often truncated) which adds to the issue, so trying to provide a staff member access to multiple Xero Orgs is…

  16. Would it be possible to create a new relationship option for Self Managed Superannuation Funds - 'Custodian'. Often when we have SMSF's with properties the SMSF has a trustee company and also an additional company as Custodian for the SMSF. It would be helpful to link both companies to the SMSF via relationships to get a better view of the client's structure.

  17. Since the change to the partner hub, this has disappeared.

    I cannot be the only one who accessed activity statements from the job and not the tax returns tab?

    They disappear into the tax return tab abyss now.

  18. Having the ability to email a client directly from the 'Search clients' area to avoid opening the client file.

    If you search a client & click on the email in the column, there is a pop up just showing the email address again. This should be interactive so you can click on it & an automatic pop out to a new email opens, using your default program. Outlook in my case.
    If I need to email multiple clients in a row, this method would be faster than opening each client file to automatically email then going back to search again,…

  20. Currently only administration level can import disbursements and such things. To give a staff member access would mean they also receive access to staff details and such things. Disbursements, especially bulk disbursements, is a task that is not and should not be done by upper management, to limiting access to them is problematic.
