XPM - Allow Practice Staff to Edit Contacts, Groups, and Relationships without Full Edit Access
Have a separation of Client Edit privileges to allow practice staff to edit Contacts, Groups, and Relationships without having full edit access (e.g. will not be able to edit client address, email address, Agent, etc)

Practice Manager | Jobs - Ability to update job Tax Return is associated
Ability to transfer tax return link to other jobs. we have created a tax return in the wrong job or want to transfer the return to another job. Would be great if the hot link can be disconnected and reconnected to a different job.

Practice Manager | Client Report - Include primary contact
Would be great to run a report which shows the primary contact for each client. Currently no functionality to report by primary contact.

XPM - Reassign client in bulk
Would love the ability to efficiently reassign clients in bulk within XPM, using tickboxes (like in the jobs list) to select the relevant clients and reassign to a new accountant. The import/export feature is clunky and often errors on import. A quick and easy way to complete this function would improve client experience when a new accountant joins the firm.

Practice Manager - 'Sticky Note' on client home page
To have a function that essentially works as a sticky note on the details page of the clients file. Although there is the notes function, it it easily lost within the multiple tabs, however if something was right there on the home screen for all to see it isn't as easily missed/ignored. It could be something simple like a staff member has been trying to get in touch with the client, or bringing attention to an address change, noting the preferred method for documents to be signed etc.

Xero Sign - Send copy to self
Have the ability to send a copy of the actual message/links sent to a client to our own email when we we send something for e-signing via Xero Sign. Adobe sign has this option.
This would help us because:
1. It is a professional requirement to keep a copy of all correspondence sent to clients.
2. It also would help when they call and have a question about what to do if you could have the exact copy in front of you to step it through with them.

XPM - Bulk Import of Recurring Jobs
The ability to bulk upload/import Recurring Jobs via .csv file, in the same way you can Bulk Import Jobs that are not recurring.
This allows for each row to have the copy/paste capacity for overlapping criteria and can be quickly created through a spreadsheet (which could stem from an Export of your client list to 'schedule' your job creation throughout the year).
One import for an entire client base would be considerably more streamlined and efficient.

Practice Manager - Ability to merge contacts (not clients)
Merge contacts (not clients) in XPM? I seem to have lots of duplicates but I don't want to just delete the ones with no jobs/invoices attached to them incase they are linked elsewhere. Is there a way to merge them? All the searches I have done only talk abut merging clients.

NZ Tax - Check of Overseas Income Jurisdiction codes to identify invalid country code
NZ Tax Audit Check of Overseas Income Jurisdiction Codes needs corrected to identify invalid country code UK and bring up a red error message. The correct code for the United Kingdom is GB not UK, the audit check should pick this up at the audit check stage which it currently does not. Thus when we go to file the return the return goes in to error as the jurisdiction code is invalid.

Practice Manager | Xero Tax (AU) - Link Tax Return to a job once it's been created
Currently there is no option as was advised by your Support Team. This will help keep most Tax Returns & Activity Statements linked to the correct jobs irrespective of how & when they are created.

XPM - Relationships - Add Share Class Type
The ability to add share class in relationships.
Currently you can only add the number of shares.
However, we have a lot of companies that have different share class types (A Class, B Class, ORD Class etc).
SUGGEST: adding a field under number of shares where you can type the share class (see attached example).This is a critical feature for our firm that is missing from XPM.

Xero HQ | Document portal (without e-sign)
Ability to send a document to a client through Xero portal, without requiring a signature. I use the Document Packs to send tax returns and financials to clients. It would be good to be able to use this function to send packs to clients that don't need a signature.
For example: securely sending a notice of assessment to a client through xero, or sending copies of tax returns to clients that have already signed them in person.

Xero tax(AU) - Hide sensitive information when printing returns
In Xero Tax when we save the completed tax return for the client as PDF for email, is there an option to hide other sensitive information in addition to the TFN, such as date of birth, address and bank details.

Practice Manager | Quick Time Entry Job Status option
It would be a great help if we could update status for a job as and when the timesheet is done.
At the moment we go to each job and update the status at the end of the day. In my opinion this would save lot my time hovering around.

Xero HQ - View connected apps by client
Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.
63 votesAppreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.
As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.
Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.
While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

NZ Tax - Correct amount when provisional tax unpaid & provisional date has passed
If a client fails to pay the first installment of provisional tax why is it then added to the next installment and then P1 shows as nothing due. This is incorrect, the amount due at P1 is still the same (per the IRD), the debt at P1 has not moved to P2. What happens for client's who have RIT over $60k?
