Practice Manager | Report on Final Returns lodged
I am wanting to run a weekly report which lists any lodged returns that have been ticked as Final Returns in the return itself. This will then trigger a set of tasks to wind up the client (ie ASIC deregistrations etc).

XPM - Ability to schedule tasks
An easier way to schedule tasks. A lot of my clients create annual jobs with lots of tasks and want to be able to schedule tasks in the same way you can allocate staff. You hit a button and schedule all the tasks in a list with assignable start and due dates. I have more than 40 clients that I am doing implementation and training and XPM support for, and all of them has asked me for an easier way to do task scheduling.

NZ Tax - Ability to have bounce back email when email address is invalid
When sending tax payment letters out via email it would be great to get an email if the address used is invalid. Like a bounce-back when you send an email from your usual email program. At the moment you have no idea if the client received the tax payment letter at all.

Practice Manager - Bulk Job Name Update
Currently, there’s no functionality in Xero Practice Manager to edit job names in bulk. This would be an extremely useful function for us. For example, we have a large number of Client Services jobs which need updating and without a bulk update function we need to do this manually, job by job which takes far too long.
14 votesHi team, we appreciate your input to product ideas. While we don't have plans for bulk update of Job names right now, I wanted to share some work we've recently released for other bulk actions.
You can now update the Priority, State, Start date, Due date, Staff, Manager or Partner for multiple jobs at once. Select the jobs from the Job Manager page, click 'Bulk actions' and choose the action you'd like to make.

Workpapers - Export & print linked files
Xero workpaper would also show the actual file report and not just the links when exporting the workpaper. This is only available for files uploaded to the workpaper. Our practice uses FYI docs where all the relevant schedules, documents, and files are uploaded and we simply link it to Xero Workpapers. This is also helpful for practices who are using cloud storing services for documents and files.

AU Tax - Ability to have unlinked depreciation schedules
I would find it very useful to have an unlinked depreciation schedules in Xero Tax. Including amortisation schedules for borrowing costs and also assets that are used for business and employment purposes creates efficiency by including it in the return.

Workpapers - Highlight accounts that need attention
Would it be possible to integrate a feature where the workpapers notify the user that there may be Xero accounts that have balances in the relevant year that have not pulled through to any of the workpapers being used (say for example because the report codes mapping for a new account has not been set up properly)?

AU Tax: Pre-filling capital losses
The Pre-fill has capital losses noted in it, so it would be great if the pre-fill amount was reflected rather than relying on roll forward information. Seems to be commonly missed with new clients.

Xero Files | Report: Ability to see user access
Ability to identify which Xero files staff members who leave the firm have direct access to the client Xero file as opposed to being granted access from a firm level. This way, before you delete the user from Xero HQ/Blue you can check to see if any clients need to be contacted to update to invite the firm rather than a specific employee.

Bank Accounts - Include bank accounts with COA import
Enable a Bank account to be created when the Chart of Accounts we have created in HQ is imported. Currently, this is not possible. All Bank accounts in the COA need to be changed to Current Assets, and then in the newly created Xero Blue organisation file, the "Bank" accounts have to be deleted and created again! Very annoying. The overall process is great, but this is annoying. We have many bank accounts in our various standard chart of accounts. I want to include the bank accounts so that my staff know the account numbers to use when they set…

Document Packs - Select signatories from Xero HQ
Current: Signatory name and email address for Document Packs are manually typed in (once per pack).
Issue: Manual input is repetitive, error prone, and requires switching tabs.
Request: These details usually exist in Xero HQ already, so I'd like to be able to select my signatory from this list.
Potential future features enabled by this:
When a signatory is selected this way, other signatories could be pre-populated in the one-click right-bar based on whether they've been in the same group of signatories in a previous Document Pack.
History of Document Packs attributed to each Xero HQ record.

Xero Tax (UK) | FRS 105 - Tabular format for Notes
The mandatory notes section on FRS 105 needs upgrading, so that the notes on things like movement in directors loans, and operating lease commitments, can be completed by merely filling in numbers into a template matrix. At the moment, no tabular layout is possible.

Xero Tax (AU) - Ability to hide client / contact fields
Ability to hide more sensitive data from staff.
I have an employee who works overseas. Currently I think we can only hide the TFN details but it would be good to also be able to hide date of birth, address and now Director ID details.
They do not need to see all of the sensitive data when preparing tax returns so it would be good to have some options of what data we can hide from employees.

Workpapers - add a calculator tool
Would be great if xero workpapers had a calculator function like blue xero
9 votesHi everyone, we're excited to share a significant update with you all. With the development of a new Xero Workpapers you'll have a new calculator tool (in the form of blank calculation sheets or light spreadsheet functionality), allowing you to perform basic calculations.
Until you get new Workpapers, the best option is to continue using external spreadsheets to perform your calculations and attach them as supporting documents.
We're initially rolling out in Australia, and we'll be sure to keep you updated on our progress as we this goes out to other regions.

Xero HQ - Provide a function to mark clients as favourites
Can you take the option of making reports favourites by marking them with a star and allow us to do the same with orgs so that a Client Manager can favourite the clients in their portfolio rather than having to search for their clients among the clients of the whole practice?

AU Tax - Add Item D12 Personal Superannuation Contributions as a custom field when building tax reports
We'd like to create a custom tax report which identifies individual client who have claimed a deduction at Item D12 so we can double check we have the notice of intent to claim on file.

Xero Sign | Email notification of who has signed in the document pack
Xero Sign - It would be great if there was an indicator to let us know that one or more clients within the one document pack have signed the documents. (if it is sent to multiple people) We only get notified once everyone signed.

Tax Workpaper - Imputation credit for "tax provision per P&L"
Hi there,
Is there any way you could please add the the balance entered into imputation credits in the "tax provision per P&L" section of Workpaper to flow through to the "Balance sheet income tax reconciliation"
