Hubdoc - Shift and enlarge "Who Posted"
The current implementation of "Who posted" information appears below the image in small text, which is easy to miss. We believe it would be more effective and user-friendly to display this information prominently at the top of the scan in larger text.

QR Code recognition of scanned receipts and invoices in Hubdoc
For scanned receipts containing a QR code, it would be very useful if the system could automatically read the code and populate it into a "Notes" field or the Invoice Reference field. This would streamline data entry and reduce manual work.

Hubdoc - Client approval to automatically pull loan statements, mortgage statements and bank balances
There are three documents that we are often chasing clients for as accountants in order to do accounts or self assessments -
- Loan statements which show the year-end balances and the interest amounts (for example on the bounce-back loans).
- Bank statements which show the year-end balance to check the accounting software pulled in all the data correctly.

Hubdoc - Capture supplier reference when posting Xero invoice
have supplier inv reference picked up in hubdoc and posted through to xero so xero can show in supplier reconciliations . so supplier canrecognise our ledger . also avoid hours trying to cross refer supplier invoice reference queries to the associated hubdoc unless obvious by date

Hubdoc - Bulk edit and archive documents
A number of our clients simply use hubdoc as a filing system as publishing to Xero is not as simple as they would like.
So we maintain their Hubdoc accounts, we update the document type and archive. It would savea huge amount of time if we could bulk edit and bulk archive rather than having to do this one document at a time.30 votes -
Hubdoc - Show invoice number in filename for downloads
I wonder if it is possible to implement the following simple change to Hubdoc. Currently, when an invoice is downloaded from Hubdoc, the file name is complied as <supplier name><date><amount>. It would be much better to replace <amount> with an invoice number. It often happens the payment batches are being sent to authorisers outside Xero, so an ability to provide a list of sorted files would be great. It also makes an invoice search outside Xero much easier.

Hubdoc - Upload additonal attachments to transactions
It would be very useful if we could upload any supporting documentation for invoices or bills as attachments in Hubdoc. At the moment, I upload the invoice in Hubdoc and then have to add any supporting documentation in Xero directly.

Hubdoc - More control of menu
I just started using this program and the ability to close the left-hand menus is needed, at minimum the ability to adjust the column width.
When the "Folders" and "Docs" menus are both open constantly with no way of adjusting them, I lose almost 1/2 the screen.
The webpage is basically broken up into 4 columns, yet there is no way to adjust any of them for a better user experience or easy viewing of documents. Currently it is impossible to view all of the information needed for individual docs without moving the document around a bunch. It's a very…

Hubdoc - Warning when drag & dropping folders
I find it very easy to accidentally drag and drop folders into another folder in the documents list and then it's gone before you even notice which folder it was or which folder it got dropped into. Please please please add a pop-up query when a folder is dropped into another folder - "do you really want to do this?"

Xero Accounting app - List contact transactions in Date order, newest first
When going into a contact in the web version oif Xero the paid and unpaid invoices/bills are listed in date order with the newest first. This is not the case in the Android App version and it is really annoying having to scroll through (in one case) 200 invoices to get to the most recent.
Can the App versions please go newest first like the web version..

Contacts Overview | Customer map - showing location pins based on addresses
Being able to see a map with the location pins for each customer and sort them by the various Xero groups, would be invaluable. This would enable us to easily visualise our national/global coverage to help better understand regional product usage. As a business that provides products to public locations, it would also be an efficient way to reference existing installations near to new enquiries for them to reference.

Contacts - Option to exclude from remittance
Have an area in the contact card to opt out of the remittance advice for that supplier. This will save the time in unticking suppliers that never want remittance advice every time a batch payment is made.

Contact - Ability to add date of birth
I have multiple clients who have members. They like to keep their members date of births on file, so they can send them birthday emails, or if they are over a certain age can get a discounted membership. It would be great to have either a dedicated date of birth field, or like some other accounting softwares a few open fields, that we could name per file, for additional required details, like date of births, member types, allergies, voting member etc. I'm sure these fields could be useful for other types of businesses as well.

HubDoc - Align subscription to Xero subscriber
If a client switches to another accountant the transfer of the Xero subscription is straightforward. However the transfer of the HubDoc subscription is inordinately complicated. Can this be integrated so we are given the option to transfer the HubDoc subscription at the same time?
Related to this I have had multiple instances of clients ending up with two HubDoc subscriptions when we create one and they create one. Or a staff member creates one and then no one else in the practice has access. Is it feasible for only the Xero subscriber to be able to create a HubDoc subscription…

Hubdoc - Auto-Archive for specific supplier
I would like to set an 'auto archive' rule at a supplier level. This would be useful for expense which have a bank rule set up in Xero. Eg Xero subscription bills, other subscription invoices.

Hubdoc - US Date Format
Hubdoc date format recognition is set at a global level, meaning when it processes invoices for US date formats, it can get it very wrong (e.g. 01-09-23 is interpreted as 9th Jan 2023 when it should in fact be 1st Sep 2023).
This makes automating the process impossible and requires manual checking and adjustment of the date on all US date format documents before submitting to Xero. It can also lead to mistakes and significant additional time to rectify errors when reconciling.

Hubdoc - Ability to copy & paste document details into Xero
It would be good if you could copy and paste from a document in HUBDOC. Like you can from any pdf format document.
eg If I enter an invoice in HUBDOC it would be good if I could go back to it and copy and paste the bank details into Xero like you can from any pdf document.

Contact | Credit Limits - Ability to set a default for all contacts
Should be an added feature of having the option to set a standard credit limit at the one time for all customers instead of having to enter each one individually. This can be edited for each customer later on.
