Reports - Add non-financial data into Xero for use in calculations
Now that we can add equations, I'd like to see Xero add non-financial data for use in calculations. Specifically, I'd like to add a number that changes each month (number of clients). This will allow me to calculate the revenue per client. I would also like to add the number of clients lost and clients gained so I can calculate the churn rate and customer lifetime value (important to use in making decisions on marketing spend).

Hi community, coming back across this idea we'd like to provide an update as the ability to input non-financial data is available through our new Xero Analytics External Data tool. ☺️
When set up this data can then be used in custom metric calculations, from the Business Health Scorecard section. You can also visualise this non-financial data on your Analytics Dashboard.

I would like to add similar non-financial calculations such as revenue divided by payroll hours per month; COGS divided by payroll hours per month etc. Inserting a table into a layout needs to align table columns with report columns.
