1099 report - Ability to print

Give a way to run the 1099 report so it can be saved as a pdf AND saved to "Published" reports. Bonus points if it can be included in advisor reporting.

Hi team, coming back around to this idea we'd actually like to provide another update as along with e-filing there are both export and download options for 1099.

You'll be able to export a CSV of your 1099-NEC report or 1099-MISC report from the Tax menu, and once the form has been submitted to the IRS you'll be able to download a PDF copy. We have more information on filing your 1099 in our Xero Central article.

    Why is printing a copy of the documents that were submitted to a tax authorities not possible? Seems odd this is not a basic feature.

    I think we need to be able to download the filing copies.. even if the EIN and SSN are blocked out

    I think we absolutely need to be able to download the filing copies.. even if the EIN and SSN are blocked out, we need to able to see what was actually filed. Oftentimes, people come back and ask for copies much later and we need to have them on file.

    This is critical in checking the accuracy and verifying the uploaded amounts to the 1099 reporting software

    This is a needed feature. With only a few to do, I would rather print them myself.
