Reconciliation - Bulk 'OK' for reconciling bank transactions
Ability to select multiple/all transactions during reconciliation.
Purpose: To save users time from having to reconcile the transactions one by one.
Hi everyone, we've been tracking this idea for some years now and truly value all the feedback we've heard on the desire and time saving reducing the manual steps in reconciliation
would achieve. We completely get wanting to skip that extra ‘OK’ click when you trust the suggested matches.
We’re excited to share that this idea is now in development. At Xerocon this year we shared automated bank reconciliation - Using JAX to automatically match and categorise your bank transactions with your Xero transactions.😊
It's in beta already and being tested by a small group of users atm, and as soon as we have more to share on this rolling out wider I'll give you another update here. Thanks again for helping us shape the future of Xero!

You CAN actually do it with cash coding, but you need to turn that feature on in your account.
https://www.meruaccounting.com/blog/xero-use-cash-coding/
then you can see all the matching items that have been identified through bank rules and select them all and 1-click reconcile all of them.
It works, but you still need to manually shift-click all matching transactions which is clunky.
Still not as elegant or functional as if you had ONE button that says [Reconcile Bank Rule Transactions] and you're don.
For those that are afraid that it might "mess things up" to auto reconcile in bulk... Well... just make sure your rules are right and tight :)
Thank you for Aileen for suggesting Cash Coding.

I already do this through Cash Coding?

It would really save time, especially for those accounts which don't have a bank feed, to be able to multi select several transactions in the account transaction tab and reconcile. We can already multi select to remove and redo, surely we could have a reconcile option too?

I think this would be a great improvement but maybe it should be an 'advisor only' feature to avoid a big mess.

I also have to click the OK buttons thousand times. This would be such a time saver.

Find & match for bank receipts - there is a tick box for 'select all on this page' ie. 50 - can another box be added for 'select all' (ideally providing the number of invoices in brackets eg 632) - this would allow users to search for a particular customer / reference (of which there may be hundreds / thousands of transactions) & reconcile with one tick

This would save so much time. We have to click "OK" on literally thousands of transactions each month.
Please build this!

When setting up a bank rule it would be great to have the option to toggle a setting for "automatic reconciliation" of anything that meets the bank rule criteria. Having to click OK through hundreds of similar transactions per day (e.g., online sales) is not efficient. Quickbooks Online has this feature and it is most helpful. Thank you!

Each month, suppliers, who have 20+ transactions, are paid. To have the ability to enter a date range of invoices paid, for Xero to then select just the transactions in this date range, would make reconciling one payment to a supplier so quick when reconciling - I'm not sure why it hasn't been thought of before.
Please Xero, add "select date range" filter to the Find & Match option - there's plenty of room in the "1. Find & select matching transactions" box, beside the "Search by name or reference" and "Search by amount" options.

Doesn't the use of the the shift button and choosing multiple transactions then use press reconcile do this in bulk? But if the user doesn't have access to the cash coding option they wont be able to do this.

This idea has been shared multiple times and needs to be put in place ASAP. We have been waiting years for it.

This is essential for integrating with a transaction source like Stripe where you might have thousands of transactions coming in. Clicking 'OK' for each one is not practical.
