Bank Reconciliation: Search for transactions across all accounts

Can we have the ability to search for a transaction , by amount , payee or description across all bank accounts. Rather than having to go into each bank account and sort dates etc and than search. Having the option to choose all bank accounts, rather than an individual bank account would be awesome.

Hi team, we get how searching across bank accounts would be useful when looking for a specific transaction.

While our product team have reviewed this idea, we don't have any plans for developing this capability in the short term.

That doesn’t mean it’s off the table, and we'll continue to assess the interest from community in this as we keep planning our roadmaps.

If things change we'll gladly share with you all here.

In the meantime, you can use the search in Xero and filter by bank transactions. It’s not a perfect solution, but it can help in some situations.

    I was just about to suggest this. It would save so much time! I have to have multiple banks open on different tabs just to find what I'm looking for.

    AND then be able to code the unreconciled bank feed direct out of the search :-)

    This is important, such a time waster looking for a payment or receipt in each bank account when client has multiple accounts.

    I'm pretty sure you can search amounts and payees via the search function on the top right (the magnifying glass).

    This is a monumental Flaw in this report !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It is imperitive thatwe can do this "new" reconciliation report for MULTIPLE BANK ACCOUNTS _ how is it a good idea that we do this 20, 30 or 40 sSEPERATE TIMES.

    *************PLEASE DO NOT , repeat NOT remove the GOOD, EFFECTIVE "old" reports until this is corrected

    Bank Reconciliation Summary Report - This is a very good Report but please improve on it in order to be more efficient. We would like to be able to tick off or add all the bank accounts that exist in a company in a single run. Currently you can only download 1 bank account reconciliation report at a time into EXCEL. Otherwise it is a wonderful report. Thanks for this. Alice

    Can we also search across codded and uncoded transactions, Bank link and MYOB essentials both have a global search features that are very useful to see similar prior transactions and how they were codded right there in their version of cash coding.
