Bank Feed - Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)
For Xero to expand their bank feed connections to develop a feed that supports Charities Aid Foundation (CAF)
Hi team, we appreciate the growing interest this idea's gaining and want you to know our product teams are very attuned to our customers desire for a bank feed for CAF bank.
We're continuing to work closely with our third party integrators to make more bank feeds available via open banking. A feed for CAF is high on our agenda, however we're reliant on third party integrators to support this integration in order for us to deliver this for you all.
I want to assure you we're pushing for it's integration, but we cannot commit or confirm a timeline for this work to be undertaken.
As soon as there's progress to share we'll happily provide further updates for you all.

As a volunteer treasurer with a small charity it is vital to be able to easily upload bank feeds. The time it takes to add every transaction separately is an enormous waste of precious time

We've gone to another bank to reveive our income because of the time consuming manual download from CAF and upload to Xero process. Having this within the bank feeds like other banks would mean we could manage our funds in one bank rather than across 2, significantly reducing staff and volunteer time for our charity. please make this happen.
Just imagine how many charities would be positively impacted by this one integration for CAF bank. I would think this would be seem as part of Xero's corporate social responsibility! -

We are migrating our accounting to XERO and currently use the manual upload to send coded data, having a direct feed would make reconciliation more straightforward

I use Xero in another setting which receives a daily feed from HSBC and find this invaluable. The current process with CAF bank of having to download and then upload transactions takes up too much time especially when the work undertaken using CAF is on a volunteer basis.

I have recently switched to Xero and am finding it very frustrating that CAF can not be a linked bank account. The work around is time consuming and open to wrror.

As with all those who commented before, a bank feed between CAF and Xero would be very valuable.
Also to say that I understand using a CSV import requires some intervention but I find the QFX file works seamlessly without any intervention. This, combined with the use of bank rules in Xero, does save a lot of time.

As with many other comments, this would save time, reduce the possibility for errors to be made, and bring CAF customers in line with other banks.

I have no difficultly with the QFX manual tansfer now that the $ £ bug was resolved. However I cannot get the direct feed with Zettle to work, as it causes double counting especially with old fashioned cash received but entered on the card reader.

Currently we have to make several adjustments to the feed from CAF Bank to incorporate it into Xero, which opens up the possibility of errors.

We have 6 CAF bank accounts and at present have to export CSV files and import them manually which would save a lot of time and staff time which we could be spending on other areas of the charity accounts. It also increases the risk of errors and duplication so an automated bank feed would make a huge difference to ourselves.

Having this option will significantly save time for our small charity, especially as we have part-time staff and reduces the risk of errors.

Please add a direct bank feed for CAF Bank in Xero.
Currently, users must export CSV files and import them manually—this is time-consuming and increases the risk of errors and duplication.
CAF Bank is widely used by charities and non-profits, so this integration would significantly improve efficiency, accuracy, and real-time reporting for a large number of UK organisations.
A direct feed would bring CAF Bank in line with other supported UK banks and greatly enhance the user experience.

It is probably a common theme, but as a volunteer doing a Charity's accounts, this would greatly simplify managing the accounts.

This is so vital! For our small charity, time is precious, and having Xero connected to CAF Bank would make a huge difference!

This integration is essential to efficiency of charities who are using both CAF and Xero. With all our other accounts, cards linked to Xero - CAF is the outlier and it would be a very welcome development to have integration in place.

We currently use Xero for our main accounts and we are about to transition a large project with significant cash flow and high volume of transactions into Xero, bank accounts for both are with CAF. It would make a huge difference to our capacity as a small finance team to have an automatic feed to assist reconciliations as currently the process is very onerous.
We love working with Xero but this is a major drawback of the system and it we would like to see the CAF and Insignis bank feeds implemented asap

Yes, please we really need a CAF Bank Feed. They are finally ready at their end and it'd be so helpful if Xero could set up the connection now. As a tiny team of 1.6 FTE any manual process we can eliminate really saves us time.
Please put this on your to do list ASAP.
Thank you so much in advance!

We'd like a CAF Bank feed please, the QFX import does not quite do it, the "statement date" is not handled correctly so a dedicated feed would help.

As a medium size charity with multiple accounts this will save a huge amount of time.
