Branding - Custom DOCX template for Remittance Advices
Ability to customise the branding of Remittance with a DOCX / advanced branding theme
Purpose: This would allow businesses that are already using DOCX / Advance branding to apply consistent branding to the Remittance advice that is sent to their suppliers.
Hi community, we appreciate the on-going interest this idea is receiving and the growing needs in the ability to customise documents that you send from Xero.
Right now, our position for this idea remains the same - we do have future plans to improve the branding experience across Xero, starting with invoicing which you can read more about.
As this experience continues to build out we'll make sure to share any updates for customising Remittance for everyone here.

I too would like the remittance advice to be customisable in terms of fields included.

It seems silly that you can edit and brand invoices and statements etc but not remittances. This needs to be addressed.

This needs to be actioned as soon as possible. It is frustrating having to submit remittance advices that do not match the company branding applied to invoices and purchase orders.

Many of my clients would benefit from this feature being made available and I would use it as a matter of day to day business when paying supplier bills for them.

Having this feature is absolutely critical to my usage of the platform and would be relatively easy to implement, so please do this soon Xero team!

As a memory expert who deals with customer confusion each and every day, I can tell you that people need consistency.
And all the more so in the image saturated online world.
This should be top priority for a forward-thinking company like Xero.

With the current environment of cyber breaches, a businesses branding is becoming more relevant than ever. We need to be able to provide clients with documents that are consistent with each other and the branding theme we choose - Remittance Advice are a part of our document set. If customers see consistency with our branding, receiving something that is "off brand" can be the red flag that they need to investigate further.

I totally agree with previous comments - we are new users of Xero and I wish I had come across this in our trial - it seems ridiculous that it is not possible to create a remittance when the whole system is set up so well for paying bills - I really thought I was missing something basic when I couldn't create this - I can create the email template for a remittance but then have to send a invoice attached??? Please sort this out asap - it is a major flaw in the system and is just not acceptable! The basics are there, it wouldn't be a huge piece of work and we are paying for this tool in our subscription, so please take note of customers frustrations. Thanks for reading...

Every other template is customisable except for this. It doesn't make sense why it can't or hasn't been done. It looks very odd for our customers to receive all other Xero correspondence with our custom branding, except for Remittances, and in today's day & age of cyber security we get a lot of feedback from our suppliers advising that we may have been hacked or they have been scammed because the branding is different.
