Bills - Quick link to the Draft tab after importing
You have today added a great new feature - the ability to upload Accounts Payable invoices to generate the Draft transaction.
Can I suggest that you have a look at the options available after the invoice has been approved, to then quickly navigate back to the Draft Bills.
This is because it's likely that we upload in batches then approve, however to navigate back to Draft to pick up the next invoice takes quite a few steps!
Thanks for sharing your idea about how the workflow could be improved for you, when you're importing and approving bills.
We've reviewed your idea and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could also benefit, so they can add their votes and comments too!

Just came to suggest this idea as find it a pain to navigate back to the "awaiting payments" then to draft bills again instead of straight to drafts

That’s a great suggestion! Adding a quick link to the Draft tab after importing and approving invoices would significantly streamline the workflow for users who upload and process bills in batches. Instead of navigating through multiple menus to return to the Draft Bills section, a direct shortcut would save time and make the approval process more efficient. This improvement would enhance usability, especially for accounting teams managing high volumes of invoices daily. For example, tools like InstaViewerig https://instaviewerig.com/ offer seamless navigation between features, which could serve as inspiration for creating a smoother user experience within your billing system.

The ability to upload bills into Xero is fantastic — it saves a lot of time. However, the process of reviewing and approving bills after upload feels cumbersome.
Currently, after editing and approving a draft bill, you’re taken back to the main Bills screen, where you then have to click Draft Bills again to open the next one. When processing 15–20 bills at a time, this adds up and slows the workflow considerably.
It would be much more efficient if, after approving a draft bill, there were an option to return directly to Draft Bills, or ideally, to automatically move to the next draft bill in the queue. This would create a smoother, continuous workflow for entering and approving multiple bills in sequence.
