Purchase order - Send to self to be driven by previous selection
In the "old" version of Purchase Orders, once you unchecked the "Send Myself a Copy" box when emailing an order, it remembered your preference.
Now the default is to "Send Myself a Copy" and I have to uncheck the box every time I send an order.
I can understand if a vast majority of customers wanted this option but I struggle to see that being the case. Am I wrong???? Or can we simply have the option to turn this feature off?
Heya team, thanks for your input here and we are continuing to keep a close eye on feedback about the new purchase orders experience and will keep you updated through related ideas in these forums.
Taking this feedback on the send experience on board, I'd like to share that the team have implemented a change so this check option is now based on the previous send.

To be fair, they did ask some PO users for feedback during the development phase. We were connected to a session and walked through some changes and our feedback given.
At least one thing I raised was fixed.
Unfortunately more was broken than was fixed! -

It's disappointing the new Xero design features have been rolled out with no feedback from actual users.
This week, I noticed the design change when sending new Purchase Orders. Purchase Orders by default are set to "send myself a copy" and there is no way to change this - it's annoying to untick this box each time. In addition, we are not able to set the default for "Attention" or "Telephone" when sending POs to specific contacts.
Can you please revert back to the old design or ensure new design changes are an improvement to the user experience, not a regression?
