New Purchase Order View - Add and remove addresses manually

The new PO rollout has removed the ability to add AND SAVE an address manually.
Previously we could manually add an address and SAVE IT - meaning that it could be re-used while needed. Now we can only add a "Once-off" address

As a builder, we send PO's with Site addresses, not addresses existing within our saved Contacts.
This means I now have to either create a "Contact" just for a Site address
OR
Manually type the Site address EVERY SINGLE TIME I create a PO

We URGENTLY need the ability to create, save and eventually remove manual addresses within PO's again

Hi everyone, we appreciate wanting to see this idea move along and for those that it impacts this is highly important.

I'd like to share that delivery address updates within Purchase orders are in the process of rolling out. Already with 50% of customers and soon to be with all.

Once available you'll find the options of being able to edit existing, add new address that is saved or add a one off address.

Please know your feedback here has been highly valuable to the team and this change. I will come back to confirm when this is live to 100% of users.

    Not all delivery addresses are showing up in purchase orders and I can't add them

    Well that was short lived .. I am back to the "new version" of purchase orders again which is very annoying.

    Thanks, Maria Lovell, I'll try adding additional email addresses at you suggested :)

    Still no changes for us and this is massively hampering our business. We have multiple delivery sites that need to be added, amended or deleted on a regular basis.

    This is so frustrating - why can't we opt to go back to the old purchase order creation screen? Mine is definitely still the new version which means we can't add addresses

    Hi Rennae (last message). I've just checked and mine hasn't changed, I still cannot edit delivery addresses within the purchase orders.

    Also I can already email the po to multiple people, just continue adding email addresses after the first entry, just adding a comma after each email address. Hope this helps.

    It Looks like its been changed back to the old Purchase Order - I can edit delivery addresses!!!

    BUT can you please allow "CC'd" option on the email screen. There are many times where we need to email the PO to multipe people.

    This is really impportant to our business - We are having to input the delivery address every time now where previously it was saved and we could select it from the list.

    We are also finding the ability to save delivery addresses for future use an issue. We work on several different projects based all over the country and issue multiple purchase orders on a daily basis.

    Being able to simply click the site address from the saved addresses is essential for us - having to type each on in manually every time a PO is raised is not practical.

    Please reinstate this option.

    Agree with everyone commenting here. I need to be able to edit and delete delivery address and contact people as they are always changing in our industry! I know need to manually change the delivery details contact person for every purchase order and this wastes a lot of time

    Agree again with Maria . We delivery to building sites , once building is built we never delivery there again but now cant delete the site address which i used to do once a year as scrolling down list is getting longer and longer

    I agree with Maria. Since the recent changes we are unable to amend existing delivery addresses which results in duplicates and duplicated work. Thanks.

    I also need the PO pre-saved addresses feature back please, the delivery address is often a marina in my case, not a client address, I need these addresses saved for easy retrieval.
    Why remove something that was useful, that is a backwards step surely, very odd.

    This needs to revert to the previous, editable delivery address feature as soon as possible. It is critical in our business for flexibility in the delivery address on a purchase order. Also, like many businesses our head office (physical address) is not the same as our warehouse (delivery address).

    Why anyone would want/ need this option be fixed without the ability to change or delete an address?
    Another strange and annoying choice by the Xero developers who have obviosly never used the platform in real life.

    Why has the ability to add an address permanently been removed and changed to a one off address from the purchase orders as this means every time a PO is raised, you have to manually add it which is more time consuming and creates more work, please go back to being able to add an address permanently.

    As well as my comment below, the need to be able to edit easily is so important.

    I have now also realised when I put the address in the address section the layout once i print PDF is horrible and not clear.
    I have a attached a screeshot showing the addres in the new address layout section and also address in the instructions section. Layout in the instructions is how it used to be and the new address section is like one big long line, no stucture.
    Not sure why this was changed along with not being able to edit anymore.
