Hello everyone, we appreciate all the support here and understand how being able to import and export bank rules would help with clean up, and save time in updating or adding bank rules.
The idea has been closely considered, however we want to be transparent that building this specific feature is not on our roadmap.
Our current focus within bank reconciliation is on delivering more automation and intelligent tools to help you reconcile faster. This includes improving the core functionality of how Xero suggests and matches transactions, ultimately aiming to reduce the need for manual rule creation and management.
We're confident that these broader improvements will help streamline your workflow and address some of the underlying pain points you've raised. We appreciate your passion and feedback on this topic, and you can stay up to date with what's coming for bank reconciliation and other features on The Long and Short…

INTRO: It is vital to have ability to export and import Rules. As per the other comments. Here is my communication with Xero Central. I have no idea how long it will take to work through the 350 as I re-set up a replacement Xero file !!!!!!
I would be very very grateful to have this features soon. Thanks Xero :)

ME: What is the best way to 'transfer' Bank Rules from one Xero file to another please?New Company LTD is a new company. It needs all the same Bank Rules as Old Company had (its predecessor).
I imaged something like export the Bank Rules from Old Company and import them all into New Company LTD.
Old Company is up to Rule Number 350, some of them are probably out of date now, but I mention this to highlight that we are dealing with a LOT of data and I am seeking the fastest way to update the new Xero file.
The Chart of Accounts in New Company LTD Xero file is identical to Old Company

ME: Do you have any suggestions for a workaround or the most efficient way of 'copying' the Rules over?
On the face of it, its very very timing consuming to open up each Rule in old Xero (in a different browser) and recreate the identical one in new Xero.
Any hints about doing this as fast as possible.
Old Xero is up to Rule Number 350! (though quite a few gaps due to Deletions)
===
XERO: There currently is no workaround, aside for having two monitors/browsers open, you will need to copy the bank rules over manually.

An essential feature. Also the Export would be great to view the Rules 'as a whole' when tidying up - to identify which are now redundant or need to be updated.

Hey everyone, thanks for your feedback on having the ability to run a File Attachment report in Xero.
We know it's a bit of a manual process right now, but to confirm there are currently some places within Xero that'll help provide a view of the files attached to transactions, such as the account transactions page in the bank reconciliation screen, or the list pages like on Invoices or Bills.
Though we really appreciate you highlighting how this feature would be useful to you, we want to be transparent that we don't have any plans for building a report of this nature right now.
Though the idea has been updated to Not in pipeline it will remain open for votes. If there are any changes that change this state we'll make sure to share with you all, here.

Super important. I spend a lot of time analysing transactions on the Account Transaction screen to see which are missing. It's hard to see since this also has Sales Invoice and Bill transactions.

It is very expensive to get on the Multi-currency plan currently. It would be great to have it as an option on the other Plans, including the Partner Plans.
What is the exact process of setting up a pre-tax salary sacrifice amount for the NZ Workride scheme please? I have read that there is no automated feature in Xero and we need to do it manually but what exactly does this mean?
