I don't believe your price hike is justified given the constant outages and portal glitches over the past month. We pay for a service that is constantly not usable. Please create a report or field in depreciation schedule which identifies how much investment boos has been claimed for the year.
IR10s now require a a field which states the amount of investment boost claimed for the year. Currently you have to manually search transactions to find these. Please add a field to fixed assets/depreciation reports that allow us to see this.

Price Increase
Postpone Price Increase until Platform Fully Functional.
We all understand that everything is increasing but in light of the current issue we are all facing with the Xero Platform, it might be optimal for Xero to postpone its price increase until a fix has been made.
You want to retain your current database of clients using your platform, help them help you. Don't increase the price, maintain it, until the platform is stable and all errors are address in full. Your current issues are causing major disruptions to bookkeepers and accountants, this is causing us a major lose in income…

Pop out for JAX
Create a button on Jax that allows the dialog box to "Pop Out" or detach from Xero. It makes no sense that I have to copy directions from Jax to paste into Word so I can follow the often multi-step instructions that cannot be done while Jax is active.

In Avalara when we extract a transction report, instead of been able to see the Contact's name or Invoice number we see the URL
We have integrated Xero with Avalara, but when we extract a transaction report in Avalara, instead of being able to see the Contact's name or Invoice number, we see the URL (the invoice’s unique ID). Can this be fixed?

VAT amount column on standard invoice
From the standard template, is it not possible for Xero to create a "show tax amount column" option which I can select as opposed to only including the tax rate in each line item? This without creating an advanced docx template from scratch?

Being able to see what type of xero plan a client is on when a subxription is transferred to you
It be good to be able to see what type of plan a client is on when accepting a subscription transfer, so then you know which plan to choose when accepting the invite

Include what type of Xero subscription a client is on in XPM
It would be good to see what type of Xero Subscription plan a client is on in XPM rather than having to go into my xero. (Some people dont have the ability to see what subscription type people are on in my xero. There is a box to show who the subscriber is, which isnt really that helpful, but it would be good to see what plan they are on as that would be very helpful, then everyone can see at a glance.

Please add an option to ‘raise a case’ directly from the status page to alert Xero to any outages.
Sometimes the Xero outage prevents logging into the platform therefore, raising a case through Xero Central is not an option. It is also quite a process to get to the point where you can raise a case even if you do have access to Xero.

XERO Tax the Tax practitioners Board TPB and the ATO have placed strict requirements on tax agents to sight identification of new clients. Both the TPB and the ATO have advised that you are unable to have a face-to-face meeting and sight the actual documents, then it is highly recommended that the Tax Agent uses a security system or secure link to transfer documents. Xero should look at this service to assist with satisfying the security of certain documents.

I am writing to formally raise concerns about the ongoing system outages, performance issues, and the broader impact these disruptions are having on my ability to complete client work.
Over recent months, Xero has experienced repeated outages too many changes and significant slowdowns. These issues directly affect productivity, delay essential bookkeeping and compliance tasks, and ultimately result in lost income. As a bookkeeper who relies on Xero daily, this level of instability is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.

I would like to share a constructive observation regarding the Purchases module, specifically around the management and automated processing of bills.
From a user perspective, the bills segment currently feels underserved and lacking ongoing optimization. This represents a clear opportunity for improvement and growth. Many of us who use Xero regularly recognize that the automated invoice capture and processing system does not meet expectations, particularly in terms of data extraction accuracy.

Improved and transparent user consultation prior to implementing changes.
Xero made a lot of noise about how good the 'new invoicing' feature would be. Users gave plenty of feedback early on when new invoicing was optional, both in comments and by not switching over to new invoicing. Xero proceeded with the change seemingly unaware of the negative mood amongst users to the new invoicing feature.
The product ideas section show, only in it's first 5 pages, 43 product ideas about new invoicing. Many of these product ideas are requests for previously available features to be made available again. Many of the ideas are under consideration or being worked on.

To keep customers informed throughout we have shared blog posts and regularly update our Xero Central page with what's been delivered and what's to come.
Being such a widely used feature, we have focused on features that suit majority of our customers needs. We appreciate some customers still want to see more development and we are continuing to enhance this new invoicing experience.

Xero Support - Change how 24/7 support is advertised
Xero advertises 24/7 support. My idea is that this representation is amended to reflect what support is actually offered.
Xero state that you can "Contact Xero for free and unlimited 24/7 customer support". To most people, the meaning of this representation is that you can communicate in real time with someone from Xero who can help. This is not the case.
The advertising claim should reflect that, while you can request support at any time, you will only get that support when Xero staff have the time to provide it, based on their triage system.

Pricing Plans - Option for a more basic version of Xero
We signed up several years ago, and were really happy with the software as it was. Now we keep update after update, and price rise after price rise. Our cost has now doubled in 5 years. I know there's fancy "features" added to it now, but I don't need them. All I want is the version from a couple of years ago. Accounting, payroll for 5, Classic invoicing, old style reports, old style bills page, old style contacts, no cashflow analytics.
Why not just make the older version available as a basic package for say £25 a month. No fancy…

Xero Support - Support chat feature
There should be a support chat feature, especially for new users. Drilling through support topics and forums is cumbersome for simple questions.
58 votesHi everyone, returning from my last update I wanted to confirm that we have released generative answers in Xero in app help for all customers.
We appreciate this isn't a direct live chat feature that is being asked for in this idea and will move the status back to Submitted, however we'd recommend giving this a try when you're next looking for an answer while working in Xero.
This feature takes into account what page you’re viewing, and the version of Xero you use, to do the best to ensure that the information provided is relevant to you.
Live chat is not something we have planned at this stage but if any steps are planned toward this, we'll let you know here.

Sales question:
we want to buy xero. We only do 100 transactions per year, but we have one month which has more than 20 invoices and 5 bills, (an event we organise). does the basic subscription do monthly transaction counts only or can it do an annual transaction count.13 votes
