Thanks for your feedback on this change, Patricia. Out of interest is there a particular reason or workflow for why you prefer to enter your bills manually rather than via an upload?
Appreciate, will take a little getting used to a different flow. A couple of other options for navigating to the new bill screen could also be;
- Using the keyboard shortcuts (Alt+Shift+N) from the bills screen
- Using the '+' icon in the navigation header to quickly Create a new Bill from any screen
- Using '/' and typing 'b' in the global search where you'll get the option of New bill from any screen
While we'll get a sense of interest in this through your idea, we want to be open that there aren't any plans for changing this back.

I have submitted this to support for more detailed feedback.
I have issues with new purchase order view:
1. A vast expanse of white space, the same features and marginally different font spread over twice the amount of screen space. Edge to Edge.
2. Increased eye movement and neck pivoting has WHS and OOS implications appear to have had no consideration.
3. The lack of colour/tone differentiating fields, data and spaces when compared to classic increases eye strain even when display settings are adjusted.
4. Attachments are now positioned diagonally opposite to the classic location leading to increased and unnecessary cursor movements.
5. Attachments:
i. Why narrow down what can be clicked to preview, I have to actually click the word view, classic allows clicking on the name anywhere to preview.
ii. Can no longer be previewed, they open a pop up that covers the existing view within Xero but then downloads. I need the preview not a download (yes I know I can change a setting in browser to change this however this then means all my other PDFs will open in browser when I need them to be in my PDF viewer.)
iii. Xero is again relying on third party programs for functions it used to be able to do on its own merit.
iv. I am sure I am not the only one when I say I need to be able to preview the document attached side by side with the purchase order/ invoice/bill it is attached to. It adds to the above WHS implications, and from an accounting perspective if full screen or new tab are our only options it leaves greater margin for error, this pop up should be resizable to match classic. These comments also need to be applied for when you force new bills onto us.

Hey everyone, thanks for the additional feedback and support in this idea. Our product team appreciate hearing how the new Purchase orders experience is being received.
Taking on board feedback they are digging into this request deeper to reconsider the placement of some actions.
I will be sure to let you know of further progress around this here.

Thanks for your feedback on the new homepage here. We appreciate what works well and not so well for our customers with the new experience. Our product team have been taking this all onboard as they continue to plan their roadmaps. Since initially released in beta, they've made some changes to the 'Cash in and out' and 'Chart of accounts' widgets so when customising your view you'll now have the options to 'Make larger' or 'Make smaller'.
Right now, they're also considering sizing of other widgets and your contributions in this idea are super useful to their exploration of this. I'll be sure to share any further updates of the sizing of widgets with you all here.

Hi team, we thoroughly appreciate all the feedback we’ve received from customers about the new homepage experience. We hear you and are committed to providing more customisation options, which’ll help with some of the pain points raised in this idea.
Currently we’re exploring the ability to resize widgets and simplify widgets and allow you to remove charts, and as you'll see from my recent update on another idea we have plans for exploring 'views' in the coming months.
It’s worth noting that currently you can "Customise" the homepage to remove widgets that you don’t want to see and simplify your view.
We’d also like to acknowledge feedback here on the red colouring - To provide some insight this was intentional, and is used to highlight what needs attention, which actually came from our early feedback and testing. However, we appreciate hearing from more users on this and will continue to…

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on this idea. We appreciate you sharing how important STP reporting is.
The existing solution is to view the STP finalisation screen, as this information is included in the employee's STP summary.
Something to note is that leave paid out on termination has several reporting types depending on the termination reason and leave type (i.e. Type U, Lump Sum A, etc).
If you use the STP finalisation reports, you may like to view this in conjunction with the ATO’s guide: STP Phase 2 Reporting - Quick reference guide.
Creating a new report for unused leave paid out on termination isn’t currently on our product team’s road map, so we've updated this idea to Not in Pipeline. The idea remains open for votes though so we can continue to monitor interest.
