162 votesThanks for your passion and the detailed feedback on this idea, community. We can see how much time is spent manually consolidating tracking category budgets, and why having this roll-up automatically would make a big difference. As noted by others in the thread, one option for now is to use a third-party app from the Xero App Store. Some in the community have mentioned tools like Spotlight Reporting or Budget Consolidator are great for this, and it’s a good way to get the insights you’re after. While we understand the value this feature would add, it isn't on our immediate roadmap to build right now. We know that's not the news you're hoping for, but we want to be transparent about what's in our current focus - You can get a view of some of the changes coming in the next quarter through our website, The Long and Short of… An error occurred while saving the comment Clare Byrne

commentedIt seems inconceivable that you have to enter a separate budget for each tracking category, and then have to undertake a manual exercise to ensure that they reconcile to the total company budget. Clare Byrne

209 votesThanks for keeping the conversation going on this, everyone. It's clear that having the ability to create budgets for Balance Sheet accounts is a really popular idea, and we hear the manual workflows you're having to use when it comes to forecasting. The go-to option for now (as shared by some in this idea) is to export your data into a spreadsheet to build out your budgeted Balance Sheet and cash flow forecasts. I know it's not the outcome you're hoping for here, but we want to be upfront about where things stand. Right now, building this feature isn't in our plans. We have to make some tough calls on what to build next, and while this isn't on the current roadmap, the feedback you've all shared here is incredibly valuable for our future planning. Please keep the ideas and feedback coming to show your support for this idea. Clare Byrne

80 votesHi everyone, we’ve been tracking this conversation and appreciate the insights you’ve shared around budgeting. We get how being able to sort budgets by General Ledger account number could streamline your workflow and help reflect the structure of your reports. Currently, as you may know you can export budgets to a spreadsheet, and sort them outside Xero. But, we understand you'd prefer a solution directly in Xero. We want to be transparent; this isn't currently in our roadmap. As we continue to monitor this space, we’ll update you here if anything changes. Clare Byrne

259 votesHi community, we totally get why you'd like to easily track partially received goods or services against a single purchase order, and to see the remaining balance within Xero. With the new Purchase orders experience that’ll be coming soon, our team has paid close attention to the flows and different needs in managing supplier goods that have been expressed through product ideas. Our team is looking to solve needs for tracking partial amounts received, so we’ll keep you updated of progress surrounding this here. 🙂 Clare Byrne

81 votesHi team, thank you for the input from you all that helped with our team's research. Over the coming months we'll be delivering a new purchase orders experience, that'll provide the ground work for new features like the ability to create part bills from a Purchase order. We understand the appetite from our community in this and will be sure to keep you looped in on progress. 🙂 Clare Byrne

516 votesHi team, appreciate wanting an update - I'm pleased to share the beta went well and we've now launched international bill payments for our UK customers, making it easier to pay overseas suppliers. Using open banking, UK businesses can now securely send money to 180+ countries including Europe (EUR), America (USD) and Australia (AUD). So you don't have to juggle multiple platforms or hidden fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once, you can authorise payments prepared by your team and easily track which suppliers have been paid. We’re committed to new ways to expand our bill payments feature for small businesses and their advisors in other regions by leveraging new technologies, where available. I'll keep you updated of any further developments for this, here. Clare Byrne

441 votesThanks for sharing your thoughts on bulk allocation of credit notes, everyone. We understand that manually applying credit notes one by one can be time-consuming, and we appreciate wanting a a faster, more streamlined solution. Currently, while we know it won't be the flow that suits all, it's possible to apply credit notes to multiple invoices for a single contact by opening the credit note and selecting the invoices to apply it to. Atm, we're in the process of releasing a new experience for Sales Credit Notes. This work will enable us to develop changes like you're asking here longer term. However, the initial release is focused on developing existing features into the new Credit Notes experience. Once this is fully rolled out the team will have more capacity to consider enhancements like bulk allocations, however we want to be upfront that this isn't planned for the short term. We… Clare Byrne
