It is great that we are now able to add repeating transactions to the Short-Term Cash Flow. Can an option for repeating quarterly be added please? For example, as an accountant using Xero and invoicing from XPM, I need to add repeating quarterly invoices for lodging BAS into the Short-term cash flow, rather than into repeating invoices.

Thanks for your feedback here, everyone. To confirm, if you're using Xero Analytics Plus the dashboard can predict payroll expenses if they’re reconciled as spend money transactions or bills, and are regular in amount and frequency. To manually include payroll expenses, add them as upcoming money out transactions.
We don't have any planned changes for how these type of transactions are represented in Short term cashflows in the near term. If there are any updates made we'll share this with you here.

Hi team, we'd like to share an update as we work toward making managing and reviewing employee timesheets easier for you in Xero Payroll.
We’re updating the timesheet admin experience, including a new timesheet list and a redesigned details view to help you find what you need faster.
We’d like to engage you all here for help in shaping these improvements.
We’re looking for customers who manage or approve employee timesheets to join an early access program, where you’ll try the new interface and give feedback directly to our team.
What you can expect:
- Easier admin tasks: Navigate your list and details views faster (this only impacts admins, so there’s no change for employees)
- Early access: Try these updates before they’re available to everyone
- Quick feedback: Help us fine-tune the final product by taking short surveys within the new screens
If you'd like to give some time…

Agreed. We have taken on new clients, whose payroll records are a mess, but we are not engaged to fix up any previous mistakes. There are about 8 years worth of timesheets that weren't used in payruns (owner used to create an unshceduled payrun every week and manually put in the hours from the submitted timesheet!). Would be great if we could clear them out or mark as Processed, so that they don't appear for us every week when we process current payroll

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on having timesheets displayed in order from newest to oldest, by default. We appreciate you taking the time to explain how this impacts your workflow.
We know some of you have been filtering date ranges as a workaround, though this adds extra steps.
We're updating this idea to Accepted as part of wider timesheet updates which are currently being investigated by our product team. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Thanks for your support and joining in this idea. We get the challenges involved in manually chasing up employees to complete timesheets each pay period.
Although it's not the integrated solution you’re looking for, you could look to set up recurring calendar events or using external communication tools to prompt your team members.
We want to be transparent that we don't have any plans for adjusting the existing notifications for timesheets.
We'll continue to monitor this idea, and should our priorities shift in the future we'll let everyone know here.

Hi community, as mentioned in my last post we want to keep you looped in on changes around autosave.
Our product team has continued to focus attention on how we can make invoicing faster and more responsive to improve our customers' experience.
We've now optimised autosave to require less processing power, leading to faster invoice loading and saving.
While we don't have any plans to remove autosave, there is the possibility that we would make updates to improve experiences related to autosave in the future - I've provided links below to ideas that have been raised and remain open for consideration;
- Invoicing - Undo/revert to previous version of an invoice
- Exclude Auto Save from History and Notes
- Invoices - Add invoice number when invoice is Approved
Thanks again for all your feedback and sharing with us in the forums here.

560 votesHi community, we appreciate the continued traction this idea's received, and do want to provide clarity and set expectation.
Your feedback has been valuable in understanding the needs of using description only lines to; add subheadings, provide context for grouped charges, and ensure your invoices are easy for your clients to read and understand.
To reconfirm, atm - You can add one-off description only lines as you enter an invoice. However, if you add detail to any other field the line will be treated as a 'financial' line and you'll need to include Qty, Unit price, Account and Tax rate.
- We know some users have set up and saved inventory items for description only lines they commonly use, however as the item code field is used for inventory items the line of the invoice is treated as 'financial' meaning you'll then need to include Qty, Unit price, Account and Tax…

When reconciling bank feed transactions, can we please have a drop down at the top of the page (maybe next to the new search and filters), where we can choose how many items are shown per page? For example, 10 / 25 / 50 / 100 items per page?
