Hi community, thanks for your support and sharing in the idea here. Diving into your comments, there are a few different ideas that we're picking up on within this one thread;
- ability to change the email address/contact of a sent pack
- ability to add additional documents to a sent pack, and
- the ability to edit metadata of a sent pack
For the first, we'd like to better understand what is driving the need to change the email address? is it down to a typo when entering it? or if its on a tax return, is it wrong on the client record etc?
Although it's not possible to add additional documents to a pack right now, creating and sending a new document pack is essentially the same - Is there any reason this isn't suitable?
Lastly, it'd be good to get more substance of how the ability to rename a pack…

Hi everyone, thanks for your support in the idea here. Reading over there are 2 separate requests in the one thread
- Ability to create a default email template for sending document packs
- A text box on single documents in a pack
We have another idea that's been started around the default email template across here and I invite all those interested to add their votes.
For the thread here I've updated the title slightly for the Text box on individual documents so we can track the interest in each of these separately.

I am looking at a MYOB to Xero transfer and this was question 1, does it get enforced to use a tracking code and we've discovered it is not enforced. What a mess you can see, one gets missed, then someone has to go back and re-enter. If you want tracking codes, that will often be as important, and probably more important than the date being entered. I am surprised it is not enforced if you enable it, or at least the toggle option to enforce it. It seems a bit silly not to be there. Why would I switch on tracking only to have it a choice and easy to overlook? In my situation we would aim for 7 divisions to each enter for their own division, so 7 people doing their own work once only would be good rather than a lot of rework being needed

Could we get Div 294 estimates in the tax estimate. There is a warning for it.
It seems virtually identical to HELP debts. Find the contributions number, this day you can see it on the ATo, and it come up on estimate.
Saves a lot of working it out separate, or forgetting to mention to client they will have it.
It is also very cumbersome from ATO ad they refund assessment first, then ask for Div294 afterwards. So it gets confusing if you don't prepare clients about it coming later so would be nice to be on the estimate. It's been around since 2013 I think so some software to gwlp us here would be ideal.

I find doc packs good, but this is one painful point, copying emails over and over. Should just come from the original database of client details you would think
