    Hi team, appreciate wanting an update - I'm pleased to share the beta went well and we've now launched international bill payments for our UK customers, making it easier to pay overseas suppliers.

    Using open banking, UK businesses can now securely send money to 180+ countries including Europe (EUR), America (USD) and Australia (AUD). So you don't have to juggle multiple platforms or hidden fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once, you can authorise payments prepared by your team and easily track which suppliers have been paid.

    We’re committed to new ways to expand our bill payments feature for small businesses and their advisors in other regions by leveraging new technologies, where available. I'll keep you updated of any further developments for this, here.

    @Stacey Pedley - reading your comment makes me very relieved that I have not attempted Xero online bill payments! Instead I add up how much to pay, set up the payment, reconcile with the relevant bills and take a screen shot showing the invoice numbers to email to the supplier .... not the most streamlined, or professional approach but sounds WAAAY better than your experience. Completely agree that Xero need to pull their finger out and sort this out!

    Seriously WHEN is Xero going to pull their finger out and sort out this and other simple requests. I don't want to be told by Xero HOW to run my business. I want Xero to provide the basic functionality that I (and it appears MANY other customers) want. I value this simple functionality WAY above snazzy new dashboards, which provide little or no improvement in the way I work!

    Hi team, we appreciate the feedback here and how an easier method of sending Remittance would be useful for some users.

    While this isn't in the direct pipeline just yet we're staying close to the ideas around this in the forums here and will be sure to notify you of any progress.

    Also can you add the functionality to send one remittance advice for multiple bills (to the same supplier) when paying in a foreign currency - WITHOUT the need to use Xero Bill Payments.

    If you are looking at remittance advices, please can you include more choice in terms of place holders for the covering email. Suggestions include - payment date, invoice / reference number.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback on VAT return notifications. We appreciate you explaining how clearer status indicators on the dashboard could help, especially when returns have been filed but payment collection is still pending.

    Hi community, we appreciate the on-going interest this idea is receiving and the growing needs in the ability to customise documents that you send from Xero.

    Right now, our position for this idea remains the same - we do have future plans to improve the branding experience across Xero, starting with invoicing which you can read more about.

    As this experience continues to build out we'll make sure to share any updates for customising Remittance for everyone here.

    Sadly, it seems to be the case that Xero choose not to implement numerous simple improvements that customers suggest. I am really not quite sure why they bother having this suggestions area as they clearly have their own agenda, which seems to centre around chargeable addons to their basic offering, and NOT responding to customer requests!

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on automatic remittance sending.

    We understand the efficiencies this could provide to your workflows and it's something our product team have reviewed and are interested in developing, however we do not have this work planned just yet. We’ll let you know here if there’s any more news about this in our future roadmap.
