Hi community 🙋
Thanks for starting this idea! Did you see last week that our Product Team released an update that helps speed things up on Xero Me Mobile? They’ve enabled the ability to copy previous time entries in start-end timesheets on a per day basis. To do this, enter your time entries as usual for the first day in your timesheet, and then select the “copy from [date]” option when adding a new time entry for a consecutive day.
The team are interested in further exploring improvements in this area, but at this stage there are no firm plans to progress this idea. They’ve got their eyes on the ground though - closely monitoring your ideas, votes and comments. An error occurred while saving the comment

This is a standard function is so many other software programs. I just looked into this again and the only option offered by Xero is to use Xero Me via web browser - not feasible as an accessible option for most employees who are already using the app - and even if you do, the timesheet template is not then visible in the app or in Xero for the payroll administrator/processor.
Even an option for the payroll person to set them up for employees to then use via the app would save a lot of time.
Less window dressing - more functional improvements!

We hear you team! Thank you for continuing to share back with us here, and a big thanks to those that registered interest and provided input to the teams earlier research.
Right now, there's still some discovery going on around this functionality, but I want to assure you this is a feature our team are keen to develop.
While the first round of research helped inform our team they want to dive deeper into some of the aspects surrounding this feature that'll help ensure we create a solution that'll best fit majority of businesses.
We'd like to give provide the opportunity to everyone here to participate in this and if you can spare a few minutes, our team have prepared a few questions in this form 📝 that we'd love your feedback on.
We want to keep you updated as work progresses on this, and I'll be back to share…

We're now at 1145 votes on this issue and still no action from Xero.
Even did the feedback link and no response.Surely just adding more flexible options to the invoice reminders based on a calendar date - 1st monthly, 15th, weekly - rather than just based on the invoice date so a list of unpaid invoices can be sent would be helpful.

Hi everyone, it's great to have the insights from your support and comments here. We understand how sending overdue statements would help in cashflows and reduce steps in following up on the most important payments from customers.
We appreciate the needs you've shared and want you to know this is high on our teams radar. While it's not on the roadmap just yet, this is something we'd like to address and the team have done some initial discovery of.
We'll be sure to share further updates on this with you all, here.

Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.
Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.
While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.
Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.
We do regularly review all ideas here, and your input is vital. We'll…

As many contacts have separate email address for invoices (usually an automated scanning email) and statements or enquiries, it would be very useful to have an option to nominate which document goes to which address rather than just sending to all

Hi community, we understand how being able to add a persons job title in contacts would help distinguish and identify within a contact.
Being open, this isn't something we have plans of for the time being. Right now, though not the ideal solution you could possibly use the notes feature in contacts to add detail of the differentials. We know this won't solve the needs for everyone in the idea but may help for some scenarios.
If there is any plans made around this we will update you of this, here.

When doing a batch payment and get to the last screen, why does Xero not default to sorting by supplier name and inv/ref - at the moment it sorts randomly which is annoying and then you have to edit the batch to sort correctly so remittances and the batch PDFreport make more sense

Hi everyone, thanks for voting and your detailed comments on this idea.
We understand the challenge of having to navigate away from the approval screen to find an employee's leave balance. Providing this information directly within the approval screen could streamline the process and reduce the risk of approving leave that results in a negative balance.
The good news is that our product team's reviewed this idea and recognise the value it would deliver. It's something they’d like to work on in the long term. It's not on the roadmap just yet but we'll update you when we're able to bring more focus to this idea.

Timesheet templates should be available to both the payroll admin and employee via the app.
Suggestion above doesn't really offer a solution - a weekly template would save a lot of time.
