    Hi team, appreciate the interest and clarification that we've received through this idea fro customers.

    Right now adding additional placeholders to email templates isn't in our short term plans but we're continuing to follow the interest of this here.

    For the time being I know not the 'set and forget' solution you're after here - you can edit the default email to add the Contact Account Number before sending the invoice.

    I agree with all the below, this is a must for us. The contact's unique account number seems to be somewhat forgotten and under utilised item by Xero. It is necessary for us to track client payments and allocate them properly so need to remind clients of it at every opportunity. The unique account number is also how our internal systems file emails under the right client in our database.

    Appreciate the feedback on invoice import notifications. Hearing how a prompt for new contacts could help keep your monthly utility billing clean and avoid unintentional duplicates is really useful.

    Most of my customers pay using their account reference, we should be able to search using that account reference in the bank reconciliation find and match window. At the moment, I have to go and search that reference elsewhere to be able to come back to Xero and match it. Very long-winded way of doing something that should be a given within Xero.

    Hey everyone, thanks for your feedback on having the ability to run a File Attachment report in Xero.

    We know it's a bit of a manual process right now, but to confirm there are currently some places within Xero that'll help provide a view of the files attached to transactions, such as the account transactions page in the bank reconciliation screen, or the list pages like on Invoices or Bills.

    Though we really appreciate you highlighting how this feature would be useful to you, we want to be transparent that we don't have any plans for building a report of this nature right now.

    Though the idea has been updated to Not in pipeline it will remain open for votes. If there are any changes that change this state we'll make sure to share with you all, here.
