  2. I hope xero has the functionality of e-invoicing to approve and send the multiple e-invoices in bulk.
    As this new invoicing does not allow it and make the task slower than the conventional xero way.
    I hope you'll add this suggestion on your product improvement and see xero functioning the next time around.

  3. When returning to Sales/Purchases Overview page ALL Invoices/Bills Xero automatically scrolls down a page moving past the first few lines.

When you are entering a Bill to Pay, the Creditor bank account number that you have stored on their contact comes up as a window at the top, so you easily compare with the bank account number with the bank account number on the invoice. This can prompt you to check if the bank account number has been changed and you can make a phone call or follow your company guidelines regarding changing of bank account details to avoid Cyber Crime.     Hi Shawn, to make sure we understand the idea here - would you like this field to be visible to the contact. Say when a certain branding theme is applied? Or just an internal to view when creating invoices in Xero? Thanks

We sell software from various vendors and many have rules relating to how their products are sold e.g. "Must include min of one license of X before customer can order any licenses of "Y" OR "Software Maintenance should be ordered with the licenses, otherwise it is ordered as a "Maintenance Upgrade" (with different pricing), and many other examples.

    Updating these each time a new price list is issued must be done manually as Notes cannot be imported or exported making it very tedious.

    Also, with Notes being at the bottom of the screen and needing to be expanded to see…

  8. Is would be helpful to be able assign different expenses from one bill to different customers, in one batch. At the moment you have to do it individually and then go back into the assign expenses section to do it again for each assignment, which for a bill that relates to multiple customers takes a lot of time.

  9. The "Planned Dates" feature in Bills to Pay works extremely well. Key element is that you can bulk update dates as required from a multiple selection.

    The "Expected Date" feature has the same potential but also needs to be able to update invoice "Expected Dates" in bulk.

    Invoices cannot be updated in bulk from Short Term Cashflow if a part-payment has been made against that invoice. Also, you can't update invoices Expected dates if they are not due yet.

    Thanks for the detail of why the Short term cashflows option is not viable for you here, Karl. 

    We don't have any immediate plans around this but will keep an eye on the appetite here and let you know if there's any plans made. 

  10. In XPM you can create a time entry for a Job you are not assigned to. However this is not possible if we are making the time entry through the API.

    The API should offer that possibility as it is the same as in the brows.er

  11. Can we please have the ability to see if a note has been added to a document when you are in the Hubdoc APP without having to go into a document.

    The ability to see this is available in the Web version, would be great to see it in the APP as well.

  12. When paying bills using Crezco use the "Details" field from the Supplier Contact / Finance as the payment reference.
    For instance if a supplier has given us a unique ID on there system as "DME002" use this reference in the payment field when doing Crezco payments.
    FYI. It used to be this way with Wise payments? but has now changed as we move over to Crezco?

  13. The same way a direct debit file is created for Creditors, it would be great if Xero could create a direct credit file for Debtors. We direct credit over 200 debtor accounts weekly. As Xero isnt able, we do it externally and use a bank template. If Xero can creatre a direct debit file, I dont see why it cant create a direct credit file. The only change is the bank ID. Our previous clunky software could do it and banks are able to upload a direct credit file.

If you have multiple invoices for the same client, a feature that allows you the option to automatically apply bank transactions receiving money from the client to the oldest invoices first moving closer to date would be mighty helpful. At the current moment, we have to manually split out each transaction to the invoices when reconciling bank transactions; it stands to reason that if you have a client with multiple invoices and they pay off in chunks, you would want to apply payments to their oldest debt first; having this as a selectable option for a contact / bank rule…

  16. Having the ability to invoice a percentage of each task in a project.
    Our company invoices as a job progresses e.g 20% of one task is completed the first month, and then 50% has been completed the following month.
    At this stage, I am only able to apply a 'discount' to alter the amount invoiced (while still maintaining the full contract amount on the invoice as a reference to clients).     Thanks for also sharing screenshots, Moyra. Appreciate wanting consistency in actions across Xero like this. New invoicing is built on updated technology, bills and other pages you see across Xero with the image in your first screenshot are yet to under go this update, however as we get to them they will adopt the same similar components and layouts that you see in new invoicing today. So while I'll move your idea here to not planned as we will not be updating the buttons in new invoicing, you can expect to see this same layout in other places across Xero overtime. 

  18. Would be really useful to have the ability to add Spend or Receive money transactions (overpayments or prepayments) within the mobile app. At p[resent the only options are bank fees or adjustments. So quite often reconciling transactions requiring this type of action need to be left until able to access a full web browser version.

  19. Ability to be able to create your own custom project report in Projects. For example being able to create a report using the fields in both the Project Details report and the Project Financials report.

    Also the ability to ability to amend the current reports in the format you want and then to save them to customs reports as you can do with other reporting.

  20. Include account code as a field on all Project Reports to filter/summarise/group by.

    Currently, all 'expenses' are clumped together under one project item type.

    To manage a project properly, it is important to see the costs for individual elements such as 'labour' 'materials' 'travel expenses' sub-contractor costs' etc (or however account codes are set for the business'

    In the Construction Industry especially we always refer to other projects when pricing up for similar ones, and in Xero there is no way to see this breakdown. This was possible in Sage
