  1. Line items on a remittance. When making a batch payment the remittance should show a breakdown on the invoices paid with refernces, not just the total amount paid.

  2. Projects- Add date project is started in xero and the name of who started it. This will help us to be able to determine how many days a job took from order date to completion.
    We will also be able to tell who started the project if we need further information about it. Something like the 'History and Notes' in the Invoices, where there is a record of who generated the 'Project' and on what date and who makes changes along the way would be perfect.   5. We use Xero for our Bookkeeping business & would like to invite clients to view only the information pertaining to their individual business records. Right now, anyone who logs in can see every other client’s information, as well as their own.

  6. UK payroll - Have the ability to fully process 2 workplace pension schemes. We have 2 contribution schedules, one basic minimum level, one at higher levels. Sage can process both of these and send the correct contribution amounts to NEST. XERO is unable to do this and requires manual intervention in XERO and at NEST. This is crazy, surely I am not the only one with more than one set of contribution schedules?????

  7. Issue - When accessing the Recent Bill Report from the contact screen the automatic date range is the most current month. If you require anything longer this requires multiple steps to rectify.

    Purpose - To show relevant recent bills depending on the contact/entity, not just the bills in the current month.

    Solution - Have an option to set a custom date range that automatically loads when clicking this report. This custom date range could vary from entity to entity.

  8. When entering a quotation, is it at all possible to do a selection per customer so that we can print out a "back order"list from the quotation. This will enable us to see the customer's name and description for all outstanding orders. Then we dont have to go into each and every quote seperately?

  10. i need tracking categories for bank accounts - my client has three different branches within the organisation and all have their own bank account. i have managed to create tracking categories for income and expenses but Xero hasnt provided the function for bank accounts. So when drawing the Financials the bank accounts dont reflect with each relevant branch. Is there a way that this function could be created/considered or has anyone have any recommendations on how to bypass this problem?

    Trying to think into this one - when you draw funds these statement lines would be reconciled to an equity account in the business? In theory the Tracking would be recorded when the item is reconciled to this account ? 

    Please do let me know more detail if there's something I'm missing in here? 

  11. We need to be able to export SAFF (ATO super compliant files) to Superannuation clearing houses. I am unable to upload a file as Xero is not SAFF compliant.

  12. When entering information on time sheets for employees, the ability to hit "next" to move onto the next employee once you have approved the time sheet rather than having to go back out to the main timesheet menu, find the appropriate timesheet on the drop down list & go back in to enter the timesheet for the next employee.

  13. Xero Project feature idea

    • drill down transaction from Xero Project reporting
    • Report template Xero Project layout can not be saved to custom report template
    • assign project to Payroll
    • Inactive jobs, still showing in the list although its in the different section, in my opinion the inactive project should not show up at all, should make the same like employee list where there is a dongle to show inactive Projects.

  16. To be able to view at a glance the 'period taken from a customer to pay invoices' from the Due Date to when the funds have reached the supplier's bank account. This is instead of exporting the Xero report in an excel sheet and then adding a formula to calculate the difference between the two dates. Surely with all the information already stored in the Xero account, this option shouldn't be too difficult to add. Thank you.

  17. Update inventory when it is posted as an expense to a project as this makes more sense as clients use the project reports to calculate WIP and it is annoying to have to constantly check which inventory figures have been applied and deduct this from the inventory. It also means when projects are billed this actually reduced the stock figure as this only happens when you invoice the project for the tasks and expenses whereas currently invoicing using the project amount does not update the inventory.

  18. It would be great if there was Inventory integration with Airtable (Airtable.com) to keep proper adjustment of our inventories. It’s a much easier to use system, for small business, that needs less support.

  19. It would be great to have a way of linking expenses on a project to an individual task so your invoices and quotes are much more streamlined and broken down into the tasks (especially when working on larger projects with many tasks and expenses)

    Something along the line of:
    when entering an estimated expense/expense into the project as well as having all the current tabs, having a another tab to 'assign to task' . When generating a quote/invoice you will then only have the task name and it will have combined the hours and materials listed.
