  1. Delivery Address:

    To have the ability to add a delivery address when raising an invoice that can be printed onto the invoice. This would need to permanently save the delivery address to that invoice. When a new invoice to the same customer is raised then have the ability to enter another delivery address if required without effecting the previous invoice delivery address.

    Interesting idea around being able to mark suppliers as preferred, Catherine. It'll be good to get an understanding of the interest in this here.

    In terms of contracts, you can currently upload files to a contacts record which is where you could upload any contract, hire agreements, rates etc.

  4. At present when you create an invoice and then use the triple dot menu and "get Link" option you are presented with a overlay which gives you the Invoice link that you can give to the customer. But this link includes an extra querystring parameter utm_source - I want a setting that stops this being added to any links.

    The links currently look like this:
    https://in.xero.com/XXXXXXXXXX?utm_source=newInvoicingGetLinkButton

    And I want them to look like this:
    https://in.xero.com/XXXXXXXXXX

    They are long and ugly looking with the UTM parameter and current I have to remove this manually from every link. I also think adding…

  5. Payroll:

    Allow changes to employees' regular earnings details even when a draft pay run is in progress. If an employee's rate needs to be changed, they should be unticked or deselected in the draft pay run.

    Currently, the entire pay run needs to be deleted, even if only one out of fifty employees needs a rate change, doubling the time spent on preparing the pay run. All calculations for overtime, leave, reimbursements, and deductions will need to be redone.

    Hopefully, this can be considered.

    Hi everyone, totally get wanting to get an update from us on the idea here. Having a fair amount of interest from users I can say that Quote reminders are defintiely on the teams radar, however with current focus largely on new invoicing we do not have any immediate plans for this in the next 6 months.

    I can assure you, though we mightn't be able to provide updates as frequently as you'd like to see, our product teams are heavily involved in the forums here and our community team often connect to share trends, discuss developments and externally communicate changes that are coming across Xero products. It's important to us to continue developing Xero to streamline payments and help our customers get paid sooner, and your idea here does sit in this realm.

    Thanks for sharing and supporting the idea here, Community. We understand the needs and desire to set a default mileage rate for Xero expenses, however want to be upfront that this is not something we have plans for in the short term.

    Our product team are staying close to the feedback, and will continue to review this idea, so if there's any changes planned we'll update you of this, here.

    Thanks for the confirmation, Sally. We have some current work underway with the email send modal in invoices, however I want to be open that at the time the team are not extending to add new placeholders that can be used. 

    For now, as you may have found you can edit the default email to add the Contact Account Number before sending the invoice. Appreciate wanting something more automated and we'll continue to track the interest of this idea and share if there's any development. 

  11. I want to be able to add notes to rules I setup, but I don't want to use the description field as that shows on the books. I like to know why I chose not to set a tax rate on a rule, or if the business owner has told me something specific about a re-occurring transactions that they may not always provide a receipt for. I would like to have something to look back at so that I understand why I set it up as I did. Hopefully that makes sense?

  12. I migrated from QB Desktop to Xero last year, and whilst Xero produces the accounts etc perfectly well I find processing book-keeping data takes me around 20% longer than it used to. Here are a few ideas which would speed this up:
    1. Have a button to scroll to next or last invoice, bill, journal etc rather than having to look at a transaction, then go back to the list to see the next transaction.
    2. Allow a default bank account to be set up for e.g. payments, receipts etc

  13. Option to use supplier account number as Payee reference when making Open Banking payments by direct bank transfer.

    Currently the Supplier account number is not displayed anywhere.

    It defaults the Payee reference to the Bill reference which is fine when paying single bills to a supplier. However, if I want to make a single payment to the supplier for multiple bills (group by Payee option), we would want to enter our Supplier Account number as the Payee reference. See attached.

  14. There is no functionality to retroactively add or edit break times into an employees submitted timesheet. It would be good to be able to edit or add a break time on the timesheet if they forget before approving it.

  15. I propose adding contact account numbers to account transaction reports in Xero. This enhancement will enable users to easily link and reconcile transactions with specific contacts, even when working with downloaded data in formats like Excel.

  16. When adding a new item to your inventory it would be very helpful to have the sum ability in the cost of item tab.

    for myself it would help when a supplier has the price less vat.

    It would allow me to input 123*1.15 and get the answer inputted automatically, just like you can do when inputting a item on a invoice.

Whether or not you agree that emailing payslips should be considered by employers as a mandatory procedure once the payrun is logged, there are some basic improvements that should be adopted regardless of your opinion. If payslips have already been sent the the first improvement is to prompt the user that payslips have already been emailed if a user revisits the pay-run options window and clicks on email payslips. If the pay run has already been posted, the second improvement is to still provide access to an individual's payslip to record a message before emailing.

  19. Add a quick option to create a manual journal entry to adjust the sales tax amount paid when reporting and filing sales taxes.

    My state (and others, I assume) forces me to round up to the nearest dollar the amount of sales tax I owe when I file, which results in the filed number being different than what's in my "sales tax" account in Xero. I then have to add a manual journal entry to adjust that amount - usually debiting from one of my product categories.

  20. XERO To XERO - IMPORT NAME/ABN AND CONTACT ACROSS WITH INVOICE
    It would be helpful when a supplier who is also on Xero - sends us an invoice that their business contact details are also imported with the invoice. It would make it easier than going back and entering the Contact name , address and ABN numbers.
