  1. It would be great if we could do a bulk recode of due dates for invoices. EG, all May invoices for a particular supplier can be recoded so the due date shows 30 June.

  2. Please consider adding more customisable options for the financial statements as they do not look professional when compared with Sage Handisoft reports (for instance).

    Just to start off, there should be an option to remove the horizontal lines across the page on each account and heading, change indentation, font & in particular font size. The font size is so small it should be close to double that!

    Thanks for your valued feedback here everyone. Considering elements mentioned we wanted to highlight Report styles which are available to Xero Partners through Reports in Xero HQ.

    With Report styles Partners can now set logos, change the colour of report titles and size of the font in reports, across client organisations.

    We appreciate there are other improvements mentioned that you'd like to see capabilities expanded too and will continue to track the interest and share any more improvements of this with you all.

  3. It would be an idea to be able to add to a purchase order by simply ticking the item from the stock list while you are checking stock levels. This would save time typing in every item after you have checked it.

  4. There is no reason to have a limit of 15 Custom DOCX Branding Themes (when those are needed to be used as RCTI). Organisations that issue RCTI do so for many clients so why limit it.

    Hi community we appreciate your feedback on the limitations of branding within Xero right now. While we are looking into improvements to branding and simplifying how customers customise their invoices, we don't have any plans at this stage to increase the # of branding templates that can be set up in the short term.

    In consideration of those in the discussion who's workflow consists of creation of recipient created tax invoice, Xero does not currently have a feature to directly support these transaction types, however we have an idea specifically for this that you may be interested in adding your support to. This is not something we have plans for right now, but we are watching the feedback for this and will share if there's any updates, there.

  5. I want to be able to add and edit line items in the Hubdoc mobile app so that I can process more complex invoices/bills on my mobile device. Currently I need to use the web app for this and the UX of the whole interface there is very poor – basically just the desktop interface but rendered much smaller – so the experience is quite painful.

  6. PO's and Quotes that have been Deleted are marked as Deleted but continue to be displayed in the Sales and Purchases Overviews. There is no need to continue to display deleted items in the Overviews. They should be removed.

    Hi team, as you may have just heard through my other update here. We have now split this idea into 2 so that we can track and keep customers updated on any progress for this feature being developed in each area respectively.

    I am please to be able to share for Purchase Orders we're in the works of refreshing the purchase order list and add/edit screens and as part of this we will be providing more filters for the search on the lists so you will be able to select to show/hide deleted PO's 🙂

    I'll return to share as this new experience goes live to our users. Thanks for sharing your interest with us.

  7. Can the new bank summary report have the option of adding in the imported statement balance for each bank account. This would provide a quick way of checking which accounts need more work rather than having to check each reconciliation report for each bank account when there are multiple bank accounts (I have 10+ and it is arduous having to run each reconciliation report just to check the balance)

    Hi everyone, while not a direct solve for the idea here we wanted to share a recent release that improves customers ability to confirm their bank balances using the new Bank Reconciliation Summary report.

    With the new report you'll now find you can enter a Bank statement ending balance. This means where an imported statement balance has not imported, or doesn't match your actual bank statement balance you can now enter an amount and update the report. Xero will then calculate the balance out by based on the amount you've entered in this field.

    Currently this is still on a bank by bank run report, you can switch between banks you have in your organisation from the Bank account field.

    If there are any plans to develop a view across all banks at once we'll let you know here.

  8. Ability: Xero only displaying the unpaid invoice up top under client/contact ----- same as former Xero version - PLEASE change this back it was perfect and it is very much not userfriendly now

    Purpose: quick overview of the account i.e. which invoices are unpaid and what was communicated last

    Current issue: with the new changes all client invoices are displayed on top, this clutters the view and is useless information, the old invoice (old and paid) don't need to be visible on top. The current invoice status is important i.e. what is not paid. It is clutter to display all…

  9. The ability to use Apple Pages to create invoice and quote templates.

    We, in common with countless other businesses worldwide use Apple computers, iPads and iPhones, as such we are disadvantaged as we are unable to create templates using any Apple software programs. Please address this for us as soon as possible so that we can make full use of Xero capabilities. This feature would no doubt make Xero more attractive to new Apple based users also.

  10. Hide or Archive System Accounts when not needed. We are a Cash Accounting based business so have no A/R, A/P, or other accounts related to Accrual Accounting. I
    It would be most useful to tidy up our chart of accounts to be able to hide the system accounts related to Accrual Accounting so that they don't clog up our reports etc.

  11. Ability to add a planned payment date to a bill from the "All" tab in. It is very frustrating that if you are in the all tab in the bills to pay section and you want to add a planned date to a bill, you then have to navigate to the awaiting payment tab and then search again for the bills you want to add a planned date to.

    Further, there is actually no need for an awaiting payment tab. We should be able to filter on the All tab for the view of bills we want to see.

  12. Present fx translation to any currency of choice on the face of a sales invoice, instead of being limited to the base currency only. As required by various local VAT authorities, the sale value & VAT must be shown in local currency - which can differ to the invoice currency.

    Example: a business invoices in GBP or USD, but must charge UAE VAT and therefore present fx translation to AED on the face of their sales invoices. This is not currently possible using the standard or advanced templates.

  13. When entering bills as "Tax Inclusive" line items, Xero automatically changes it to "Tax exclusive" line items.
    When trying to edit the bill to show tax inclusive line items, it again auto reverts to tax exclusive per line item.
    I am requesting Xero to allow for having a choice between Tax Inclusive Bill line items, as well as Tax Exclusive. Why? This is because it is easier to reconcile due to the payment being tax inclusive.

    Hi community, appreciate the interest for being able to match based on the invoice number, even if the amount of the statement line and transaction in Xero differ. While this isn't something we have plans for at this stage, it'll be good to get a sense of the interest for this here. 

    Just to confirm for everyone coming across - The way suggested matches work currently is based on the amounts of the statement line and transaction being the same and also looking at most of the fields of a statement line and comparing with transactions entered to show a preferred match.

Please please can you sort your system so that when we are bulk importing our annual jobs that it is possible to import the budget also - I have asked for this for many years but to date nothing has changed. I hope that now that you have finally updated the system, after several years of empty promises, perhaps this is now a possiblity. It is far too time consuming to enter the budget manually with over 1000 jobs and would speed up our invoicing if the budget field was imported instead of having to look elsewhere for the fee.…

  17. The new Profit and Loss report does not filter the actuals AND budget by tracking category. You have to manually add the correct tracking category budget to the report. When you have 40 plus tracking categories this becomes time consuming and silly.

    The old profit and loss report did this easily. So the new report is a major step backwards

    Ensure the filter for the new profit and loss report filters BOTH actuals and budget, so the report is easy to produce and has meaning. Do not expect users to add the correct column for budget - particularly those less…
