  1. Hi not sure if it is available, but can you add WhatsApp to clients? It would be great if one can email and WhatsApp client invoices and statements, directly from the online portal.

  2. Low stock alerts can be set up in the Xero "Product" administration. Each product reaches a certain 'low' quantity and Xero gives an alert accordingly.

    Hi team, as mentioned in my last update this is already possible with the option to export invoices as a CSV. This will download your invoices with the detail in a CSV format that could be used for some of the purposes described here.

    I want to be open that we don't have any plans at this time for enabling a download of multiple invoices at a time as separate PDF documents.

    While the idea will moved to Not in pipeline voting will remain open, and if it does pick up traction from the community we may revisit.

    It would be great if you could replace the underscores with spaces when downloading PDF reports from Xero - currently we have to tidy this up before sending reports to clients which takes unnecessary time.

  7. We have a UK based client who have a presentational and functional currency in USD. There is no possibility of setting up this company correctly on Xero, as Xero only lets UK organisations use the base currency on GBP to link easily to taxonomy.

    It would be very helpful if this could be set up.

    Hi Jonathan, when you say presentational and functional currency is USD - does the organisation pay taxes in the US? If so it would be recommended that you pick US when setting up the org. 

    Alternatively, if US is one of the currencies that the org regularly deals and transacts in but pays taxes in the UK it would be recommended that you select UK and the client is on an org that includes multi-currency in it's plan. 

    We appreciate customers would like to see more capability with currency in Xero - most recently we have added the ability to run the newer Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Budget Variance reports in other currencies an org uses.  

  8. Although you can save a custom Account Transactions report as the new default report, Xero still displays the original default Account Transactions columns if you drill down to account activity from Balance Sheet or Income Statement.
    This currently requires re-adjusting the column settings every time.

    We understand why you'd like a setting for defaults when you drill down through the Account Transactions report. This is something our reporting product team have taken a closer look at, however the solution isn't a simple change and we want to be upfront that at this stage we don't have any plans for. We will share if there are any updates here.

  9. Employers are only required to pay superannuation guarantee up to a quarterly threshold (maximum contribution base). At the moment Xero doesn’t cap the super at this level, and will allow super above the cap to be booked. (In fact, to limit the super at the cap requires a work-around adding 2 lines, one with 0% super and another with the fixed amount up to the cap.). Employers can easily overpay their employees’ super. This functionality needs to be built into Xero.

    Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback and I do want to apologise for any confusion my update's caused. You're correct in that the responsibility outlined in my response is relevant to the concessional contribution cap. Seeing your responses today, we now appreciate that the idea here is specifically around the maximum contribution base.

    I want to assure you this is something our product teams are paying close attention to and though we don't have any immediate plans we can share, we will consider this request as we continue to plan our roadmap - We encourage you to share any further details on your experiences related to managing the maximum contribution base as these will be helpful to the product team as they assess this feature.

  10. I often collect cash payments that I then create invoices for, rather than having to click on Approve then click on Add payment, it would be great to have the option to Approve and add payment in one click.

  11. Location and time tracking, as it stands you can only enter start and finish time. Be good to have a login and logout to track worked hours in real time not just estimating. Location tracking through the timesheet would also help with when switching jobs.

  12. Would really like the option to have a second layer to approve leave. I am a HR Manager and find it hard when the manager approves leave verbally and I do not get notified until later. I would like to see the option for HR or Finance to get a notification or get the option to approve prior to the manager so we can manage the employee leave status.

  13. We need to be able to create a report that lists inventory item sales and includes the customer name AND other customer contact information such as email address or phone number.

    There have been occasions where I've needed to contact a large group of customers that have purchased a product from me due to a misprint in a book or an update to a title. At present, the only way I can do this is to export my inventory report and add the contacts manually. Xero Support Specialist - Daniel has confirmed this.

  16. The ability to export the auto enrolment pension report and also to "hide" deep archived employees. I check this report mid month and send a list to HR as a sanity check for those employees not yet enrolled/non eligible but now have to scroll through "all" employees past and present to get the current information. Not very user friendly. Even an export option with some way of then filtering whether the employee is current would be useful.

  17. Set a bank rule that only autofills the contact name - Often the same contact is used for sales or purchases to different accounts. Currently bank rules force you to choose an account. I'd like to set the contact automatically with the bank rule, then choose the account during reconciliation. Saves me typing the contact each time.
    ALTERNATIVELY - I saw and voted for another idea that there could be a drop-down list of possible applicable rules, then I could write 2+ rules for the same contact and matching criteria, and choose the appropriate rule. This would be even faster,…
