  1. Save and Next option for Timesheet approval.

    Rather than having to go back to the beginning for each and every timesheet approval you should be able to save and view next in the same way you can with bills.

  2. Given XERO is pulling in credit card transaction details can they pull in payment due dates to help manage timing of payments? Could be as simple as a "Payment is due" flag that a user can manually turn off if they want after paying.

  5. Sales Invoice - Bulk create Sales Invoices is possible with the import of the csv file, however, the invoices entered is not marked as paid, so we either mark them all paid on one especific date (bulk payment) or go in each one of them and enter the payment...

    Going in each one is impratical, and bulk paying all, lets say, at the end of the month is ok, but not right.

    We would love to create and mark the invoice as paid in one go, just like with the import precoded bank transactions...

    That would help a lot, as…

  6. Come on Xero, this should be the flow already, the tab position after entering the date should go to the reversing date, we accountants enter a lot of manual journals that are reversed and it is a pain in the **** to have to mouse click on the auto reverse date to be able to enter the date...

    This is a easy fix, this is just the tab index in the page...

    Thanks for sharing this great idea, Leandro. We can see how changing the keyboard tab order on the Manual Journal screen would make entering reversing journals more efficient.

  7. We have 3 Belgian customers who are unable to used Xero as there is no connection with Belgium tax authorities, comparable with the HMRC in the UK for MTD VAT returns. If Xero truly want to be a global accounting solution, with Group structures having multiple geographical entities, they need to provide more global support/interaction to avoid clients moving away to alternative solutions.

  8. Could you please consider adding the feature of adding and processing auto superannuation payments from each finalised payrun (eg button next to "File" that would prefil the contributions in the payrun and further to authorisation). A number of clients are asking for a payday super feature, and adding this feature directly from the payrun will minimise the number of "clicks" and processing time. This also would be a hot topic if moving to compulsory payday super.

  9. On projects under "quotes & invoices" it would be great if it showed the remaining balance of the invoice. I send 4-5 invoices per project and sometimes clients pay a random lump sum and i write it off against the invoices but that can lead to an invoice being part paid and being able to see which invoices have been paid or have a remaining balance under that view would be beneficial instead of having to get out of projects and searching the invoice under the invoice tab.

  11. We have monthly invoices and we have multiple lines, sometimes 100+. With the new invoicing, the approve button is at the top of the screen and I have to scroll to the top every time I got to check the total prior to approving. Can you please make the 'approve' ribbon fixed at the top of the screen when you scroll down?

    You may find using the 'Home' button on your keyboard helps to quickly navigate back to the top of page for now.

  12. Stop staff viewing salary information via the contact or the account code, this is a MASSIVE problem and is costing real money right now. I am sure we are not the only business for whom this is a huge problem!

    Hi Damien, we'll need a bit more information on your workflow to best understand your needs here, and this would be best raised with our support team directly as a start.

    It doesn't look like you've been in touch with our specialists at Xero Support yet, so I'd recommend raising a case with them through Xero Central where they'll be able to get more detail of your processes and if there's any recommendations they can make to help you to censor sensitive information from your staff.

  13. At present we are able to edit the layout of reports by rearranging, creating formulas, and grouping accounts. It would be INCREDIBLE to be able to customize the following.

    1) Group font (size and boldness only)- right now it defaults to a much larger BOLD font than the underlying accounts. It would be nice to choose these sizes and weights

    2) Customize the Group Total's Location - at present it shows only as an additional labeled row with the corresponding total. It would be a neater presentation to just have the group total show right in line with its main…

    We've identified that there are existing Xero Product Ideas relating to customising fonts and styles in reporting, and collapsing and expanding account groups. We've gone ahead and added your vote to these ideas, so that we can gather support and gauge interest for these ideas separately.

    We've also adjusted the title of this idea to reflect your suggestion to change the position of group totals in custom layouts. This idea can now gather support through votes and comments from others in the community.

  14. On the Suppliers list, if you want to get to the next page you need to scroll down to the bottom of that page. Could there be a next page toggle at the top of the page as well as the bottom. This also is applicable to Customers.

  15. Business snapshot - link to default custom Profit & Loss Report

    We use a custom Profit & Loss Report which is default.
    Unfortunately the Business snapshot links to the standard xero Profit & Loss Report not the custom default Profit & Loss report.
    Can the Business snapshot be changed to link to the custom default reports?

  17. Hi, I would like to be able to complete quotes correctly please. So for example, QU-6767 was accepted by the customer. The customer later decided that only one line of the quote was required, which was invoiced. I would now like to mark the remaining part of the quote as declined.

    It would therefore be helpful to have more options for the quotes system, to be able to mark the quote as partially invoiced and the remaining as declined, even after the quote has been accepted.

    I create monthly reports of accepted, declined and invoiced quotes. It would be helpful…

  18. When using the final pay function and annual leave is in negative, please flag with a "check with your bookkeeper, accountant or Fair Work before processing negative leave on a final pay." Some business owners are unaware that this may be contravening Fair Work laws.

  19. Budget Manager - Ability to Archive old budgets that relate to archived tracking categories.
    At present the budgets still appear within budget manager even though linked to an archived tracking category. It would be great that when you archive a tracking category that the budget is archived along with it or just the ability to archive old budgets in budget manager. At present you can only delete so you lose that history.

  20. I recently encountered errors like "account must be valid" when updating invoices. It is important to list and/or highlight the relevant rows or item nos in the error message.
