Automatically include PDF of invoice when sending it via Xero Network Key.
Purpose: Some clients need to see the attachment of the invoice. It’s also good for audit purposes.

Report that shows the total sales made by each sales person in an organisation
Purpose: Ease of being able to compare Sales reps stats across the organisation and/or overtime
10 votesHi community, as you've found Xero doesn't currently have a function that automatically tracks or calculates sales by sales person.
In the meantime, you could use tracking when you record your sales, which will allow you to report based on sales made by each sales person.
A suggested process is:
- Create a tracking category called something like 'Sales Rep', and create category options within the category for each of your sales staff.
- When a sales invoice or quote is created, you can include the staff member's name in the staff member (Tracking) field on the invoice/quote.
- You can then use the Tracking reports to see the sales that relate to each 'Sales Rep' and calculate commission manually outside of Xero.

We understand that the ability to easily track deferred GST is crucial to your workflows.
Currently 7A on the BAS is a manual field, which does not update the figures on 1B. To adjust for this, we recommended the following workaround:
- Enter the original purchase as BAS Excluded.
- Once you have the Customs Entry form N10, you're entitled to claim a GST credit. Create a Bill with the value of the Deferred GST showing on the N10. Code this to your GST account (820 in the default Chart of Accounts) using the tax rate GST on Imports so that it shows separately in the Transactions by BAS field report and gets reported under 1B. You'll still need to manually add the Deferred GST…

Sales | Notification that invoice sent/not sent
To be informed of the status of mail sent from Xero
Purpose: Identify contacts that mail is not getting to, and ability to validate if information has been received by contacts30 votesHi everyone, as much as we appreciate the feedback and interest of being able to receive a notification of whether an invoice has successfully sent. The team priority right now is around the body of the invoice within Xero.

Xero Mail - Send as @company-name.com not message-service@post.xero.com
Ability to make an email sent from Xero appear as @company-name.com instead of message-service@post.xero.com, when users send an email to their client/customer.
Purpose: To provide more validity when sending communications from Xero out to clients/customers and avoid items ending up in Spam/Junk mail.
206 votesHi community, thanks for sharing your continued interest here. We appreciate the importance of having assurance that mail you send from Xero is being received, and that being able to send from your own company email would increase confidence in this process.
I can confirm this idea has been regularly reviewed by our product teams, and being able to send from your own company email is on their radar. Currently there are other priorities, and platform work that requires their attention, before they can consider this more deeply.
We'll move the idea back to submitted so we can continue to gauge the interest through votes here. When there is opportunity to pick this up, I will share any news with you all here.
