  1. Be able to add a message for each individual employee to tell them what their premium is for their medical insurance benefit.

    The premium for each employee is different, so can't use the payslip message on a payroll run. Adding individual data to a person's payslip each month is too labour intensive.

    Maybe some type of pay item without affecting their pay/tax/NI etc. It could then be added to their pay template so it appears every month.

  2. In the Director's Declaration, it would be great if the report could recognise if there is a single Director or multiple, and then update the wording accordingly. (eg "The Directors have determined" or "The Director has determined".)

  3. Ability to completely remove from the My Xero homepage cancelled Xero organisations. Currently, you can list no fewer than 10 items per page, so if you have say 4 active organisations and 6 cancelled organisations, you are 'forced' to look at the list of cancelled organisations every time you log in, even if the entities have long been deregistered and there is no chance that you will resubscribe to them.

  4. Users with the Invoice Only (Approve and Pay) role should be able to view historic invoices/credite notes/bills for a customer or supplier within their contact page.

  5. Many super fund member numbers have special characters, eg, dash '-' or underscore '_'.
    At the moment, only numbers can be entered as the Member Number, which means any member numbers with special characters are deemed 'invalid' by Xero. This means we are unable to process super payments for the staff member.

  7. Currently bill costs are not posted to the accounts until it has been approved. It would be beneficial if once a bill was entered/submitted for approval in xero the costs were shown in the accounts. If the approver is not available to approve the bills it holds up finalising month end accounts.

    Thanks for the feedback about our forums here themselves, Freya. 

    Appreciate wanting to get a view of the ideas you've started. 

    It's not possible on the platform itself currently, however if you select the option to 'Export my data' from your Settings and Activity page you'll receive a few files, one of which is a CSV of all the ideas you've started and the URL to be able to view these online 

  10. Very very occasionally, sending an e-invoice will fail. When this happens, currently the only way to find out is to follow up with the client about their unpaid invoice, find out they never received it, go into the individual invoice and look at the history. An alert would be very useful.

  11. In the Reconcile Accounts view it would be great to be able to have a link to the item you are about to reconcile - like the "more info" on the statement side of the reconcile view. Often payments appear to match but it can be hard to tell without seeing the detail on the invoices or payments that have been registered against the invoice.

    Hi Rob, if you click the Find & Match text above the right hand side of the match this'll pop open the Find & Match modal where you can quickly open the invoice in another tab to check it's details.

  13. Reports: Project Financials
    Include the ref of bills and invoices as an optional column on this report. At present the only way to include this information is to re type it into the description of each line on a bill or invoice, which is not efficient.

  14. The only way of moving (using the keyboard) within an invoice or a bill table at the current moment is by using the enter or tab key. These two keys allow you to move horizontally.

    Many times I found myself wanting to move vertically instead! Could we have one key that will do just that?

    A similar feature is already present in 'cash coding' and makes the experience of reconciling way smoother. What about invoicing and bills?

  16. Can we please have flexible decimal points on allowances. So overnight stays - 3 - are appearing as 3.0000 and 200 kilometres is appearing as 200.0000 kilometres. I would like to remove those decimal points?

  17. Custom Invoice Template did not work well for Thai characters. I've used Tahoma font as suggested on https://central.xero.com/s/article/Change-font-layout-and-column-headings-on-invoices-quotes?userregion=true#Useforeignlanguagecharactersininvoicesandotherdocuments but the characters above and below letters are not display properly.
    Please find the attached for your reference.

    I would like to ask for a font that can work well with Thai characters on invoice template.

  18. It would be great if we could edit the tax rate without reversing the payment allocation. Sometimes, when completing the VAT reconciliation before sending to HMRC, I spot errors in tax rates and I can't edit it without reversing the payment allocation. You can edit the account it is posted to but not the tax rate.

  20. Title says it all, the current process requires a customer to full sign up with Xero (and be almost/forced to PAY) just to see an invoice history.

    This should be accessible via a rotating link where the current "View all invoices" link is in the upper right -- or extremely simple login system that just takes an email and password.

    Hi Adam, understand that there can be confusion for a customer if it is their first time making use of the link and not already having a Xero account. 

    The need for the user to create a Xero login to access and view their outstanding invoices with you if for yours and their security in the information that can be viewed. 

    Appreciate you may like a simpler sign up process for them and I have slightly adjusted the title of your idea here for this.   It's not something we have intentions of developing at this time, but we will get a sense of the wider interest from your idea here.
