  1. Repeating Invoice: Sales Overview Screen - add a Last Updated Date to the Overview Screen

    Purpose: We use repeating invoices for the Auto Pay feature but most invoices need some form of adjustment before being sent each month. With a list of repeating invoices that goes on for pages it would be great to see the last date/time each invoice had been updated so that if you are interrupted during the monthly updating you can tell where you are up to when you come back to the Sales Overview screen, rather than needing to keep track of this somewhere else.

  2. When ticking the "eligible to receive leave loading" box under taxes, have a pop-up to enter the leave loading rate. A lot of clients tick the box, but are not aware they need to manually enter the rate under leave in the payroll settings as well for it to occur.

  3. At the moment the only option to allow us to offer Auto Pay via Stripe is to set recurring invoices to "approve for sending". Clients receive an email from Xero when their invoice is ready and an email with the payment confirmation linking to the paid invoice and their receipt. Clients on a subscription do not need to get the initial invoice and this confuses many of them. I would like the option to disable sending the invoice when Auto Pay is active, where the only email they receive is the payment confirmation.

  4. I can email my receipts to Xero, when will Xero be integrating the same sort, file, and account application features that Hubdoc has so that I don't have to use Hubdoc at all?

  5. As the title suggests. A "view all" option throughout the product would be great. Or even view a year. Far batter than having to click load more over and over again. Especially when if you click off of the page you then have to laboriously keep clicking load more again and again.

    Also to have dates next to (Or instead of) page numbers in the various scrolling pages; cash coding, reconcile, etc.

  6. Almost every quote/invoice I make ends up having the last little bit of the quote/invoice on the second page, with a huge amount of wasted space on the first page, which looks unprofessional. Having the option within standard invoices to remove the spacing would be amazing. I know you can get around this by using the 'Advanced invoice' option, but that requires a lot more manual work, so it's inconvenient.

    We appreciate the passion and feedback we've received from customers about the ability to import and export purchase orders.

    We want to be open, that we do not have a direct plan to build export and import functionality in Purchase Order any time soon. 


    Our Product team in this space are currently focused on modernising our underlying technology so we can build new features, faster in the future.

  10. Once an employees timesheet has been processed and approved it would be handy to be able to print the completed timesheet off for filing away as a hard copy.

    At the moment you have to process and approve the timesheet which automatically takes you back to the list of timesheets to be approved/already completed only to have to turn around at open the same one back up and select the 3 dots at the top as have shown to print the whole page which is incredibly frustrating. Can we please look into having a print option??

  12. It is crucial to be able to print or email statements to multiple or all contacts with received money transactions at once showing each received money transaction for the contact in a time period on individual/separate pages by contact. This is really needed functionality because any nonprofit entity needs to send giving/donation statements at year end. I have tried multiple reports and statements. I can create an Account Transactions report showing all the clients and the received money entries, but it doesn't allow me to separate contact on their own page.   13. When you lodge BAS using Xero automation, it creates a draft Bill. My idea is that the BAS report the bill is based on, is also uploaded to the draft Bill as an attachment.

  14. I was wondering if it was possible to get surcharge not added into the total charge that stripe uses to get their processing fee. I always thought that the surcharge total would be like the money that they took their charge from which is why I added the surcharge anyway. It ends up being that stripe adds the surcharge in with the base charge on the customer invoice and then takes out their processing fee. I don't think that is right though. It should be a way for stripe to only charge their processing fee to the base cost of…

    Hi Matthew, we really appreciate you adding your thoughts and voting on this idea. It's clear that having more flexibility around how Stripe surcharges are handled would make a difference—especially when it comes to simplifying reconciliation.

  15. Auto accrual of Alternative Leave - It would be great if there was a permanent payment item setup in Xero for public holidays worked, and when it is used Xero automatically accrued the alternative leave earned. Or at least make it more obvious that you have to manually adjust the alternative leave accrual in each pay.

  16. The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) allows partners to fill out and submit a Partnership Tax Return (PTR) without being a registered tax agent or accountant. However, TPR is currently only available in Xero Tax, which is a professional tax preparation software package designed specifically (and only) for registered tax agents and accountants.

    Can I request that (like BAS and TPAR) the PTR report and lodgement features be made available in the base Xero software?

  18. Tronc pay item to be set up as PAYE applied only. Currently there are 2 options but one has PAYE and pension applied, the other has PAYE, NI and pension applied.
    The standard Tronc set up is PAYE only, yet there is not pay item for this.

  19. we have recently set up our business so everyone is on xero, we would like people to be able to view profitability in projects, but not have the admin user.
    Giving people admin user allows them too much access, but we want them to be able to see profitability on the projects so they can keep track.

  20. I see that in Aus the starter plans in Xero are going up by 7-12% again this year (July 2025).

    Part of the sales pitch appears to be access to analytics. Subscribers on this level are mum and dad businesses, maybe an employee or two (as restricted by Xero).

    They need a simple system they can use, they don't need or want sophisticated analytics systems. There's nothing in their accounts to analyse. They barely have time or inclination to do a bank rec.
