  1. Allow autopay to be applied to a group of recurring invoices, rather than having to enable it on individual invoices. This would be useful for turning Autopay on for a number of invoices for the same customer or turning it on for a number of invoices for different customers.

  2. When showing a list of statements to send (from Business - Invoices - Send Statements) from Send Statements, can the invoice number be shown on the screen so sorting can be done on invoice number. Also the date of the invoice would be handy as well to give an idea of when first looking at the front screen as to how old they are. It would make choosing and sending quicker and more efficient.

  3. When you have a large number of Tracking category options and you wish to add another, you have to scroll heavily to get to the bottom of the list each time you wish to add another.
    This is not time efficient. The option to add another tracking category option should be at the top of the page for simplicity and time management of the XERO user

  4. Greetings,

    Xero offers an outstanding process for depositing Invoices with Awaiting Payments (pictured below). Our business does not use this feature because invoices are paid immediately.

    Why there is no similar process for Paid Invoices (cash)? It seems of utmost importance.

    I believe numerous businesses would benefit greatly from having this feature for Paid Invoices as it will increase efficiency, accuracy, and allow for more streamlined bookkeeping.

    When you say that the invoices are paid immediately, how are they currently reconciled?

    Just trying to better understand how you envision this flow to help you move more efficiently in Xero.

  5. I would like for Xero to provide more detailed analytics about the exposure my business has to foreign currency, with existing foreign currency bank accounts, bills and invoices, but also based on averages regarding how much I am spending and receiving in each currency projecting that out into the future perhaps over the next quarter.

  6. Bank reconciliation screen: Why now, when reconciling, the page shifts down from the top! Shifting up from the bottom would make more sense and be less confusing. I reconcile from the latest and scroll down the page, but the page shift affects the ability to find my place for the next transaction down the list to reconcile. Often, I reconcile a wrong item as the screen header rolls down not up after I have reconciled a transaction. I find I always must readjust my vision. Very annoying.

  7. Supplier bill payments for South Africa for payments and debit orders that directly pulls from Xero, like being done in the UK with Crezco, which can be done with Paysoft Flow (https://paysoftflow.co.za/) in South Africa for example.

  8. Please give us the option to make Tracking Groups a mandatory selection on the Employee tab before Xero users can save a new employee. This will stop users from setting up new employees & forgetting to assign the Employee Group tracking group which results in misreporting

    Hi team, while we appreciate your feedback and why you'd like to make this field mandatory not all businesses use tracking for payroll. We want to be upfront that we don't have any plans for making the employee groups field mandatory.

  9. It is better to not to have annual salary for casual employees in their pay sheets and also in the remuneration report in Xero as it is not a reliable figure to have in.

  10. It would be great to be able to open & close the sections in the VAT return.
    I might be looking for a specific line in the Expenses for example, but need to scroll though all the sales. A little toggle to drop down or close off would be great!

  11. On normal "blue" Xero, for each contact there is a Files and Notes Tab - it would be great if on the top banner there is a an icon to flag when there is content in that tab.

    Also, on the Activity Tab, there could a column to indicate when an invoice or bill has an File attached, as it appears when viewing all invoices or all bills (not under each specific contact).

  12. Thanks for fixing Over payments in the new system - works great! - 1 adjustment - the account menu pops - UP not Down, and bank accounts are off the top of the screen need a lot of scolling, can you change to normal pop-down please? (like the Date Paid menu)

  14. Customer/recipient view of invoices on mobile should display price/quantity/VAT.

    Majority of our customers review their invoices on mobile browser. We use zero-quantity line items to include extra information/detail in our invoices, but the new format cuts out price/quantity/VAT when viewing an invoice on mobile, so these lines appear blank/empty.

    Other invoices, where customers want to review the price and quantity on their invoice, not just the line total, are similarly inaccessible.

    Understand that these areas have been removed to keep the mobile invoice condensed, but it now means key information is missing from the invoice, and is resulting in more…

  15. I have noticed that when you are preparing to send an invoice via email in Xero that you can now add new addresses in the TO, CC and BCC lines. This is great.

    However, I have noticed that ALL contacts are available to add here. It would be safer to only allow the contact email addresses associated with the contact name on the invoice. It is too easy to add the wrong address and potentially send invoice information to the wrong client.

    If other people needed to do this, perhaps a tick box could be applied to allow ALL CONTACTS…

  16. Recent changes have gutted our ability to operate under two distinct business names (Branding) under the same Xero account. Our Xero organization name and address is now included by default (and without the option to hide it) on Invoice emails and on Payment acceptance links. This was previously not the case.

    This completely breaks branding for us, and I'm not quite sure why this change was made. What is the point of having branding at all of we can't control what organization details are provided to the customer? Support suggested I open another Xero account. That's not an option -…

  18. Ability to show customer credit limit on the landing page of a GROUP (In this instance Credit Client)

    Purpose - Users can easily see the credit limit along side the contact name and the headers "You Owe" and "They Owe" Providing a snap shot to avoid the need to click into each individual account to check their credit limit.

  19. Recently half of the emails I thought I had sent were 'unable to be sent'. I had no idea until I became worried why my usually reliable clients had not paid me on time. After looking I saw this message on the 'History' trail.

    My suggestion is that where an error occurs like this there is a significant error message signal e.g. a box comes up or things are highlighted in red and bold.

    Cashflow is the lifeblood of any business and if the system is unable to send an invoice this could have serious ramifications for Xero clients.

  20. Have an area in the contact card to opt out of the remittance advice for that supplier. This will save the time in unticking suppliers that never want remittance advice every time a batch payment is made.
