  1. In the Aged Payable detail reports: Show a column of paid bills and Credits listed by month by month. This is the functionality form the old aged payables report that I want added to the new reports.

  2. On the Receivables and Payables Detail report, include a flag that shows when a planned payment date has been manually identified (as opposed to the credit terms due date). Will simplify cashflow forecasting

  3. P11 PAYE & P11 NIC annual reports, need to have an option to export as Excel, instead of auto downloading as a webpage.
    My auditor requested these in Excel format and there was not an option for this, it would make it much easier if these type of reports could have download options, so you could export to excel.
    This will also allow usage for tracking and internal auditing.
    Yes, you could copy all and paste into excel, but this isn't always reliable as sometimes it will paste it all in to one cell, (which is a pain to fix)…

    Hey Sam, thanks for sharing this idea.

    As you’ve found, it’s not possible to export the P11 reports in excel format. Totally understand that copying and pasting details from the .html file is a time-consuming process!

    Just curious if there’s specific information required in the P11 reports that’s unavailable in our other reports?

    You can find much of the same information in the ‘Gross to Net’ and ‘Payroll Activity Detail / Summary’ reports, and they do support saving as an excel file.

  4. Ease of entering - ability to tab into 'Description' field when in 'Amounts are' field.

    Would be great to have the ability to tab to the 'Description' field and not have to double click

  5. While importing bills from QB in bulk, it would be a great time-saver if Xero could automatically Approve the bills while being imported. Currently they go to the Draft folder.

  7. It would be productive to see if a contact is registered for CIS/verified and their status on the contact account page - where the group info is listed.
    Otherwise the only way you can see this info is by clicking edit the contact. And include a signal/sign on the contacts page next to each CIS registered contact so that they can be identified easily.

  8. Hi all!

    I'm a one man band IT business, and I've just started being put on retainer by a company which is great, however I'm finding accounting for the retainer to be a bit burdensome.

    Currently, my plan is it add the retainer's ammount as a credit note at the beginning of the month, and then somehow nullify any remaining credit at the end. However, I was wondering if it would be possible to add a way of managing retainers separately and more efficiently from credit?

    Or even just having the option to add an expiry date to a credit…

    Great to hear how you're currently using Xero with Credit Notes to manage this process for yourself, Joseph. I've slightly amended your idea for being able to set an expiry for a credit note as it's quite unlikely that we'll look to create a completely new feature for managing retainers. 

    Having a quick look at some of the other ideas raised in community, it looks like some people maybe using SimPro as a means to manage these, alternatively you could explore apps in the ecosystem that may meet your needs. 🙂

  9. Termination reason.
    Can we please have the termination reason to show in the payslip in the pay run so it can be reviewed without having to post the pay run and go in to the employees settings to check.

  12. Occassionally a debit order fails/ bounces after a considerable amount of time, after the receipt has already reflected on a customer statement. In this case, I should be able to reverse the receipt without removing it from the Accounts Receivable account.

    For example, a debit order runs in March and bounces several weeks later in April, after the customer has received a statement.

    E.g. end of March they receive a statement showing

    Opening Balance 0
    Invoice 100
    Receipt -100
    Closing Balance 0

    When the receipt now bounces in April, their next (April) statement should begin with what the closing balance…

  14. Ability to remove value from online quote. This will allow templated quotes to be used where a total value isn't used and individual pricing is set per task. Dependant on the job there are specific rates per brick etc. Which is calculated at the end of a job bet the rate is set at the start therefore we need people to accept our quote (rates) but the total (quantity) wouldn't be determined until job completion.

Hi Community, we need to have the option to copy part of the invoice when we are doing it, and then, copy that on the same invoice we are working, many times we need to invoice the same things to the same client but separate it by levels or offices into the same invoice, we can save a lot of time with this function when we are writing a big invoice.

  18. Allow multiple contacts for the bank fee adjustments. When we have a number of customers paying via card in one day it automatically pays the full amount of the payments into our account the following day but each customer has a bank fee and it would be helpful to add this for each customer.

  19. On a multi currency company it would be better for the total amount showing due matches the balance of all bills as per the date they were raised.
    It causes confusion for clients when they pay a supplier, they usually just check total owed against the contact, if it's fluctuating to reflect exchange rates this means they may under or over pay the actual original bills.
